so much for that

Cullen Christian MVP at Nike Camp
Cullen Christian was just at the Nike Camp, and was awarded the MVP for DB's. There were plenty of Michigan recruits there, including Sharrif Floyd, Jewonne Snow,Brandon Ifill, and Malik and the Stokes Family. The Stokes' were doing a lot of work at this event for M.
OT?: Season Tickets...Get 2 or Get 4?
Season ticket question.
Just received my form to purchase...it's the first time I've been given the opportunity (and I graduated 10 years ago). Guess that's what 3-9 does for you.
Anyway, I went online to fill out the form and there's another link called the "All in Pack." It's the same price per season ticket ($400 for 8 games), but shows a quantity of four, not the two that the link to the season ticket purchase is.
Long story short. Anyone heard of this "all in pack" before? (I haven't.) It appears to be a chance to buy four seasons instead of two, though the letter announcing that I can buy seasons doesn't mention it.
Two, should I just go ahead and get the four season tickets together? I'm married and have two kids (ages 6 and 4). Seems like a no-brainer to get all four, though my wife is a little wary of me dropping $1600 tonight.
MGoBoarders, lend me your advice.
OT?: Michigan Stadium Graduation Cake
I'm finally graduating tomorrow, 18 years after I took my first class in Ann Arbor, Fall of 1991. Obviously, this is a pretty big deal, so we're doing the whole friends-and-family graduation party at the house afterwards. My wife has been taking cake decorating classes, and got good enough at it that she's now teaching the classes at a local Michaels. We got a sports arena bundt pan from her brother a year or so back, and figured this was the perfect time to break it out. After a test run last week to check the frosting colors and whatnot, she finished up the final product today. Some pictures: (Clicky on the pictures to go to larger versions on my Gallery site.)

A couple links from CFN (yeah, I know, a few of you hate them).
We're #1 when only talking college success and #5 when adding in the pro production.

BCS and Congress
Looks like our reps in Washington have solved, let's see here, our two wars, the biggest economic crisis since the great depression, swine flu pandemic, and nuclear proliferation, and have now moved on to the next most important agenda item... BCS vs. Playoff. Tax dollars, boys, that's your tax dollars hard at work...

Ya know it would have been really nice of them to find a different picture for our team - I mean really, can't even find one centered on a player that didn't leave?
