"I still think people know I put up decent numbers without playing a second on the [power play], but yeah, probably defensive guy is right, and it's fine," Hagelin said Monday. "I know what I'm made of and I know what I have done offensively in this League while playing a defensive role. I'm confident I can do a lot of damage offensively."
Through it all, Beilein says she never saw Chatman sulk. "Not once," he stressed. "I haven't seen that at all and that's a rare quality for someone who is highly touted when they come in. It's tough to have that humility."
“When you are growing up, you see the USA jersey and you think how cool it will be to put it on,” Sanchez said. “It’s awesome to put it on your chest. It really speaks to you when you go overseas for international tournaments and you are on the blue line and the national anthems are going. You are looking at your guys and seeing the USA, and you know it’s an honor.”
