he grew a beard
I think this is worth posting during the season becasue I know there are a ton of Breaking Bad fans on the site.
Michigan will open the labs today
Gov. Rick Snyder, University of Michigan Mark Schlissel and other will speak at the grand opening Friday morning.
here is a tour:
"This facility will enable groundbreaking experiments by our faculty and students, resulting in landmark advances at the interface of mechanical engineering and nanoscience. We look forward to watching this progress unfold," said David Munson, the Robert J. Vlasic Dean of Engineering.
I know it stinks that our football team isn't doing great right now -but the school (which is the important thing) is doing great!
Leaders and Best - Go Blue!
It is Friday. Enjoy the Posbang. Upvotes for all.
The writers went the Olberman route and attributed the idea of a student boycott of kickoff to MGoBlog. How hard is it to differentiate between the posting of an anonymous person on the message board and what Brian has said on the main page of the blog?
Just got this email, who knows what its going to be like, but at least the President is doing something to acknowledge the protest.

And for lazy "Dear Students,
President Schlissel would like to invite you join his Fireside Chat tomorrow, Wednesday October 8, 4:00-5:30 pm at the Michigan Union in the Pendleton Room. He hopes to encourage feedback on the recent issues related to athletics as well as other important topics of concern to U-M's student community. [The fireside chat is an invitation-only event so the president has the opportunity for a thoughtful, engage discussion with a wide range of students. Please RSVP to me at email@example.com.]
This might be deleted since it's OT, but oh well. In my opinion I'm tired of seeing CC threads and any other bad news.
I do go on other big college football boards every once and a while and I happened to go on volnation just now.
With Tennessee's choke in their game on Saturday which they were finally expected to beat Florida for the first time in 10 years, they seem to be in similar shape as us.
I think the OP was a guy attempting to bring back what people were saying near the end of Fulmer's career.
Then there are various posts talking about how Fulmer did not recruit very well near the end, and other things like David Cutcliffe and John Chavis made him look much better than he was. Also Fulmer struggled hard against Florida and after their national title season they really didn't come close to being elite ever again.
I think this post sums it up:
''Pretty much.... while ignoring the fact that the ditch UT has been in over the last 6 years is EXACTLY where Fulmer put the program. You can blame others for not correcting it... but not for causing it.''
