LIST OF WWE PERSONNEL?!?
This evening, within about 10 minutes of each other I was given the opprotunity to go to both Michigan's spring game and game two of the Redwings playoff series.
I don't know what to do. Im leaning towards the Redwings, but my question for all my fellow Michigan* mgousers is what shall I do?
*for non michigan residents it would probably be easy to discount going to a Redwings game
Update: Im going to the wings game
The Michigan softball team outlasted Central Michigan University by a score of 3-0, today at Alumni Field. It was the second straight day that Michigan beat a MAC team. Game-time temperature was 60 degrees and sunny with the wind light and variable.
The offensive hero was Alycia Ryan. She went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs with a HR in the bottom of the 6th. Bree Evans went 3 for 3 with an RBI.
Jordan Taylor was on the rubber today. She allowed only 1 hit while striking out 9 and walking only 1. The Chips were not very "Fired Up" today.
A good defensive game today by both team. The Chips made 2 double plays and Michigan did a great job fielding the bunts. Overall a wonderful game to watch.
Dorian Shaw has been silent since opening the home stand. Hutch moved her up in the line-up to the #3 slot so she would get better pitches to hit. It didnt work as Dorian went 0 for 2 with a BB.
We travel to Champaign to play Illinois who are tied with us for first place in the Big 10. This is a critical weekend series.
This is a good discussion to kill time on a Wednesday. Which is better/do you prefer? NHL or NBA Playoffs. I personally prefer the NHL playoffs and it is not close. The games are more entertaining, there is more real drama (NBA has fake drama), and the grind it takes to win shows just who is the best. But that is just my opinion, what is yours?
I note that a UM alum -- John Miller -- has recently written a book about the early history of college football. It's called "The Big Scrum: How Teddy Roosevelt Saved Football". I intend on picking it up; if it's any good I'll paste my thoughts in the thread below.
The #2 Michigan Softball team spanked Western Michigan today at Alumni Field 6-1. It pushed our record to 36-3. Game time temperature was 56 degrees under sunny skies with a slight north wind. Hutch had the girls in the road unis today.
The game could have been ugly early but Hutch put the brakes on. She made changes early to allow the reserves players some reps.
Colie Sappingfield went 3 for 3 with 2 RBIs and a run scored. Ashley Lane was 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Bree Evans went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored.
Stephanie Speierman was given the ball today and gave up 1 unearned run while surrendering 1 walk along with 2 Ks and 4 hits. She went 5 complete. Hilary Payne continued to administer the pain as she was brought in to pitch in releif and picked up the save. Payne pitched the final 2 innings. Payne gave up no runs, 1 hit and recorded 3 Ks with no BBs.
We play Central Michigan University tomorrow at Alumni Field at 6pm.
The Michigan Softball team is now ranked #2 in the USA Today/Coaches poll. We picked up 6 first-place votes as well. This jump in ratings is due to losses by #1 Alabama and #2 Georgia.
Arizona State is ranked #1. We beat ASU 1-0 earlier in the year. Texas is 3rd, Georgia is 4th and Alabama is 5th.
Congrats ladies. Keep up the good work.
