Apologies to everyone expecting a Purdue victory strip. Started it last night when the game was still in doubt. As for where the idea came from, well, I guess it was a parental moment.
Personally I was more into the comics back in the day. Good times.
Friday Fun will address what's at stake this weekend. No pressure, boys.
THE BLOCKHAMS™ runs (typically) every week here at MGoBlog and on its official home page. Also, don't forget to check out the Friday Fun, my weekly single panel comic based on trending Michigan events, available on Twitter and the home page every Friday.

Now that Haylie is back, this will give us the best 1-2 punch in the country. Welcome Back Haylie.
The SB Team came back strong today against BC 14-2 in 4 innings. The ladies are on the "Spring Break Tour" in Florida.
Caitlyn Blanchard went 1 for 1 with a walk, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Sierra Romero went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs and a run scored.
Sara Driesenga was the winning pitcher. She gave up 2 runs (0 ER) off 1 hit. She struck out 4 and walked 2 in 3 innings of work. She faced 14 batters. Alice Fitzpatrick came in a clean up role for the last inning.
Its nice to see the ladies get back to winning habits. They finished the game quickly so they can get back to the hotel to watch the BB game.
University of Michigan has maintained its rank at #12 in Times Higher Education World University Rankings of top universities in the world by reputation for 2013.
The reputation table ranks institutions according to an overall measure of their esteem that combines data on their reputation for research and for teaching.
The scores are based on the number of times an institution is cited by respondents as being the best in their field. The number one institution, Harvard University, was selected most often. The scores for all other institutions in the table are expressed as a percentage of Harvard's, set at 100.
So the University of Oxford received 73% of the number of nominations that Harvard received, giving it a score of 73 against Harvard's 100. This scoring system, which is different from the one used in the World University Rankings, is intended to provide a clearer and more meaningful perspective on the reputation data in isolation.
Other B1G Schools:
56. Ohio State
58. Penn State
74. Michigan State
Nebraska - Unranked
Indiana - Unranked
Iowa - Unranked
It's great to see Michigan ranked in such high regard around the world, and nice to see that most of the B1G made the top 100.
I was surprised to see that Northwestern and USC lower than I thought they'd be. I also didn't see Notre Dame in the top 100 at all, did I miss it?
What are your thoughts?
Okay people, what is going to happen tonight? Rick, Carl and Michonne make it out alive on their trip to find more help? Does Lori come back as a ghost yet again? (/s) Will the Governor finally attack the prison with his army of asthmatic kids and elderly women?
This bud's for you Mr. Burke
