good luck with that
Fabrice Muamba, 23 year old midfielder for Bolton Wanderers suffered a cardiac arrest this past saturday. It took 2 hours of resuscitation for his heart to begin beating on his own.
According to a friend of his, he has began speaking and moving his limbs. While he is still listed in critical condition, my doctor friend thinks that if he is talking he is most likely out of the woods and should survive.
Scary stuff. He grew up in and escaped the deadliest civil war since World War II (Zaire). Hope he makes a full recovery, though I doubt he will play soccer ever again.
Anybody have a stream for the Everton vs. Sunderland game?
Ha'Way lads. Go Black Cats.
Title says it all. Second finals appearance in a row for Russell as he looks for his 2nd NCAA Title. Also, senior Zac Stevens won in the blood round to become an all-American for the first time. Michigan is in 9th place (sixth out of Big Ten schools).
Kellen Russell looks for back to back national championships (with a likely tough rematch against Ohio's Steiber), Grajales is still alive in the championship bracket, and much more.
If they make the finals, we'll get to see them on ESPN which, for all of its faults, has vastly improved its coverage of the final round in the last decade.
