"Coach Mattison told me what the Ravens were about, what he thought," Beyer said. "He definitely encouraged me. I hold his opinion in high regard."
Straight up... I need a lawyer who knows the county courts/government in Franklin county and is hopefully familiar with the Legal Services office at Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University.
I don't want to spend a ton of money but I'm getting frustrated with bureaucratic red tape trying to get the county and the Medical Center to fulfill their legal obligations. I live out of state, so I need someone local who can advocate face to face if needed and hopefully get to the right person w/o wasting my time and money. This has nothing to do with malpractice or big bucks for that matter - so I want to avoid those types if possible.
This can also be used as a what are you drinking thread or other nonsensical use of your night/morning.
I'm drinking 1.3 oz Vega Sport Perfomance Protein Dietary Supplement mixed with bull run's best - post a chest day workout...boring perhaps but it doesn't get much better than that except on a leg day.
As expected, when the Big Ten softball awards were released, Michigan was once again prominently featured. Megan Betsa was a unanimous selection for pitcher of the year and Carol Hutchins was coach of the year for the 15th(!) time. Betsa, Christner, Romero, and Wagner all made it onto the All-Conference 1st team, Lawrence, Ramirez, and Sweet came in on the 2nd team, and Wagner, Christner, and Lawrence also appeared on the All-Defensive team. Becca Garfinkel was honored with one of the sportsmanship awards.
In an interesting turn, for the first time in her Michigan career, Sierra Romero actually did not win Big Ten Player of the year, and honor that went to Minnesota's brilliant sophomore pitcher Sara Groenewegen. This comes as Romero's numbers dipped somewhat during conference play as opposed to the non-conference season, probably largely due to her arm injury. Hopefully she'll be able to tough it out through the playoffs & get it plenty of rest over the summer.
While this certainly is not related to any UM team or sport in any, it is Michigan related. My brother in law, Joshua Davis, is one of the final 6 on the Voice. While not a fan of any reality TV, this has been fun to be a part of and watch. He is part of the Earthwork Music Collective, and he represents an impressive collection of folk/blue grass/swing/blues/jazz musicians from all over Michigan. Give a listen and support him if you feel inclined to do so. Your support is very much appreciated.
Anyone going to this? Am I going to be ok having a UM license plate covering on a state of Michigan license plate along with a University of Michigan sticker on the back window with two M stickers on the side windows? I also plan on wearing bright maize t-shirts like I do for any Michigan sporting event. I fully expect to have fuck Michigans hurled my way by the mouth breathers down in Ohio but my biggest concern is my car getting keyed or some drunk asshole becoming violent with me. Is this a legitimate thing to be cautious of in May or are the Buckeyes a milder breed this time of year?
After being too busy to create a thread last week, I'm now barely able to crete one this week! that said, here it is!
They (your significant other, investment banker, dog who owns all your money) finally said YES! you can get a side-car purchase. You've got a limit though (no people saying they'll take an F40 and parallel park it in front of their apartment). What would they actually say yes to? What's your side-car purchase with a cap of:
You get a daily driver, so no worrying about trunk space or the kids. This is just to drive... happy ebay-motors-ing and cars.com-ing
Many people who watched the fight were angry at Mayweather's "boring" style of boxing, but if you had ever watched a fight of his before you should have known what you were getting.
I was largely disappointed at how relatively uninspiring manny was in the fight. I know he's older, but I still expected him to come out wailing.
Well, this might have contributed (a lot) to it:
