that makes one of us
Just wanted to apologize to M-Wolverine. My post in that thread relating to Lynn Henning's "prediction" were not supposed to be going to you they were going to the user: "humpty". He's an MSU fan who has been trolling the board. His post was:
"Finally a reasonable prediction. And Lynn Henning hates MSU, just check out his exchange with Izzo at his press conference announcing he was staying at MSU".
The weird thing is that I went back found his profile then went to threads that he's wrote comments in and of the 2 that I've gone to he has no comments so either:
A: The comments are being deleted by the mods but are only getting deleted on the actual site and not the mobile site? Which uh?
or b? I'm going insane and the mobile site is just publishing weird shit that isn't showing up on the actual site.
Any mods (I'm looking at you Geaux_Blue and Elaydin) that have any idea wtf is going on?
I am currently a junior in high school, and am beginning my college selection process. Since I was a kid, Michigan has been one of my dream schools. My question was: to all of the MGoBloggers who have recently attended and are attending michigan, what do you think helped you get in? While this is by no means the only research I am doing on the topic, I think it would be very useful for me and anyone else in a similar situation. Any info would be appreciated.
PS: i say recently because i know standards have changed over the years. My dad got into michigan with a 3.5, and i know that wouldnt get him in in 2010
Edit: thanks to everybody. The one highlight i am taking from this (and will tell my friends) is to enroll early. I didnt know to do this before i started this thread.
The late night ads on the side of my MgoBlog page have turned creepy. A white-bearded man is staring me down. Anyone else thinking about subscribing to a Russian language magazine despite a complete lack of any Russian language skills?
Is this your doing WLA? Communist Football?
If your advertisements are radically different, please proceed to feel confused and move on to less random threads.
Screw Michigan State, it's October 5th and I still hate Ohio State above all others. You can have five days of hating Sparty, but there are 365 days for hating those asshats to the south.
Last week, the D.C. Board of Elections and Ethics opened a new Internet-based voting system for a weeklong test period, inviting computer experts from all corners to prod its vulnerabilities in the spirit of "give it your best shot." Well, the hackers gave it their best shot -- and midday Friday, the trial period was suspended, with the board citing "usability issues brought to our attention."Take a bow, students.
Here's one of those issues: After casting a vote, according to test observers, the Web site played "Hail to the Victors" -- the University of Michigan fight song.
"The integrity of the system had been violated," said Paul Stenbjorn, the board's chief technology officer.
Stenbjorn said a Michigan professor whom the board has been working with on the project had "unleashed his students" during the test period, and one succeeded in infiltrating the system.
interesting for fellow law nerds.
