Just got my first smart phone yesterday and am having a blast learning all about it. One of the things I was most excited about when I thought about owning a smart phone was that I would be able to listen to the various podcasts at WTKA and from Brian when he does his thing at various spots on the net. So anyway, I have an android, I fired up the WTKA website went to the podcast page, and started listening in. It was awesome. For about 30 seconds. Then the phone stopped playing the podcast and the 'podcasting' bar up and disappeared and would not reappear as long as I stayed on the same segment. Just wondering if anyone else knows how to make those WTKA podcasts work on an android...
I'm finally getting some friends into MGoBlog. Now I'm trying to find all of the relevant content that they've missed over the passed couple of years that will make them understand where we currently stand as a program. Obviously the Decimated Defenses (I, II, III) are crucial and so is the "When can we Fire this Guy?" post by Brian. But I'm trying to remember all of the other greats.
So now I turn to you. What are your favorite Diaries/Board Topics/Front Page Articles that should be required reading for all newcomers? (Also, if you loved a topic because it was the funniest thing you've ever read...AKA Mascot Fights...and you feel it crucial that it be read, I'd love to pass it on.)
Thanks in advance for your help.
EDIT: Links appreciated!
I need something to distract me. Who's got good news about the team or the school or something? I just found out that my former boss, and one of my best friends, in the past week has had to have his knee replaced, and then just on Saturday, his two year old grandson died completely unexpectedly in his sleep.
It hit me like a ton of bricks and I have zero energy or anything now. I'm just... gone. So how about some tidbit you've been holding back. Do you know a player who had something cool to say? Did you eat at Blimpie Burger with Richard Ash and watch him eat 4 quints with egg?
Alright, the pregame shows are about to start. Trying to do what we did last week (so we can make it a habit), and as FormerlyAnonymous says and make it inclusive for the whole day's NFL action, with an obvious emphasis on the Lions. But also open to your favorite team for out of towners, and any Michigan player chatter. Catch a little pregame, and then I'm turning on Redzone.
