Horrible news in baseball. Mariano Rivera, best relief pitcher in MLB history tears ACL and his fabulous career may be over. Rivera was injured shagging fly balls before the game. You just never know
because he rode a BMW motorcycle for 4 hours, and claims that the shape of the seat on the bike caused him to have an erection, that has lasted for the last 20 months......
Now maybe my wife will let me have that motorcycle I always wanted....
User SamGoBlue2 posted this in another thread asking for someone to post it to the board (he doesn't have the points). If anyone has any info on recent grad Brice Moss, please contact the police. He's been reported missing.
Hey folks, I rarely post but read MGoBlog every day. I am part of the Michigan Class of 2012 that just graduated this past weekend and don't have enough points to post a new topic, but there is a recently-graduated senior who has been reported missing by his parents. I am not extremely close to him, named Brice Moss, but I have met him on a few occasions and he is a very nice kid, incredibly funny and not afraid to talk to anyone. This status has been floating around Facebook:
I wondered if anyone with enough points to start a thread could perhaps do something about this. I know that not everyone that reads this site is from the area, but the more people that know about this, the better the chances we find Brice. Thanks.
Drink em up boys. Just cracked a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Pretty good day for me so far:
- Made breakfast for fam
- Coached son's soccer team to victory
- Fixed lawnmower
- Mowed lawn
- Snaked drain and re-plumbed bathroom sink
Truly a day of manly successes. Cheers.
Also, I channelled Hoke after the game. A parent told me "Good game coach." My response was "I didn't kick a ball once - it was the kids who had a good game..."
In case you've already read Brian's comprehensive front pager about receivers individual stats in recent years and are looking for some good, clean fun, here's an off-topic question for those "hard" at work this warm, sunny Friday afternoon:
Watcha working on there in the office (or wherever you are)?
Me, I'm sitting on what is possibly boringest** of boring conference calls about the policies and procedures of escheating unclaimed funds to the state.
(I should be honest: I'm actually reading the blog and watching Battlefield 3 videos on YouTube as the speaker drones on in the background.)
Check out the nice photo montage from this month's Michigan Today, with shots of the iconic Burton Memorial Tower: http://michigantoday.umich.edu/2012/04/slideshow/index.html#1 This will bring back lots of memories to Ann Arbor ex-pats, and Burton Tower arguably (next to the Big House) stands as the most recognizable structure on campus.
