We are currently looking to add 2 new users to our PS3 Ncaa 13 online dynasty. Our goal is to have 8 active users with 4 teams split into 2 conferences. Here is a brief description of the dynasty.
Teams taken : Utah, Clemson, FSU, TCU, Oklahoma State, Oregon
Team Allowed: Any 5 star or lower team. We are just starting season 5 so its based on where they currently sit within the dynasty.
Exempt teams : Alabama, LSU, USC, Texas, and Michigan. (we are all fans so its just easier to have them exempt.) We want you to have to build a team up a little.
Heisman difficulty, 6 min qtrs, some small slider adjustments.
About to advance to preseason tasks so now would be a perfect time to join.
First come, first serve. I'll keep a waiting list also.
Leave your psn and I or the commish will contact you.
All Our Shopping Cart are NOT Belong to You, or
Screw You, Patent Troll
Appeals court invalidates three patents that Soverain was using to claim ownership of online shopping carts and file suits against online retailers. (Ruling PDF link) Soverain loses the $2.5M it had won from Newegg, as well as almost $18M plus a ~1% "running royalty" it had won from Victoria's Secret and Avon. (And it has many other lawsuits pending.)
For Newegg's chief legal officer Lee Cheng, it's a huge validation of the strategy the company decided to pursue back in 2007: not to settle with patent trolls. Ever.
"We basically took a look at this situation and said, this is bullshit," said Cheng in an interview with Ars [Technica]. "We saw that if we paid off this patent holder, we'd have to pay off every patent holder this same amount. This is the first case we took all the way to trial. And now, nobody has to pay Soverain jack squat for these patents."
You know the ones that bug you. I know the ones that bug me. Here's to a little Saturday-morning catharsis.
Cool story bro
You sir . . . anything
This what I was kinda hoping the other thread would be about. Are there any athletes who went to other schools, that after their careers you wish had gone to Michigan? It probably helps if they were really considering Michigan, but I'm not setting any ground rules. (I mean, "I wish Michael Jordan had gone to Michigan" is nice, but seems there's not much there). I would say they should not only be good, but you think would have fit in for Michigan. Some great guy you hate might not work. Terrelle Pryor probably would have helped up, but we might have bigger problems than "stretching" now too. (But maybe you can make a case for him).
I immediately thought of daddy Glenm Robinson, who said after the fact if he knew all the Fab Five were going to Michigan he would have gone too. Put Ray Jackson as a sixth man, and add him, and I think those title games might have ended differently. (And a third year even without Webber). Kevin Garnett was considering us before he went straight to the NBA. I'm sure there are some football players who went elsewhere we didn't end up hating. Or go other sports if you like. Really miss that Jeter never got to actually play here? Or that Phelps had been eligible to compete?
And yes, I know we have one vote for Aaron Craft already.
So the Daily actually reported this a couple of days ago...
Any thoughts from our past and present band members on the move? Should be a seemless transition. And knows Michigan. But does that mean the same of what we like, and what we don't like, or do people think he's going to put his own spin on things? What's his rep?
Lately, I've been a seeing some suggestions to make a section for instructions on things like blockquoting or embedding, and other things that might be useful, in Seth's words, "tips for pretty posts". Right now there seem to be two options: an in-depth sticky thread (which would permit its own Q&A), or a smaller set of additions to the FAQ page. Which of these comes to fruition is up to you, MGoBoard, in the form of what suggestions you make on this thread.
There will definitely be a permanent addition to the site including instructions for the following:
- Embedding YouTube
- Embedding photos
- Uploading photos to somewhere then embedding them
- Creating tables (Seth'sTableizer trick)
New MGoMembers that don't know how to do something, what would you like to see instructions on? Longtime MGoMembers, what would you like to see a refresher on? Tech savvy MGoMembers, what kind of cool stuff can you instruct the rest of the board to do in the interest of "pretty posts"?
