“On the offense last year, they had great spacing. That’s what I remember. Great spacing, great shooters, like Nik Stauskas, who’s not there right now. But they always have someone to fill the roles. They have a cutting offense, kind of hard to guard.”
Lately, I've been doing quite a few pictures in Detroit. In particular, I have been trying to seek out the buildings of Albert Kahn as he was one of the prominent architects of many of the more famous buildings in Detroit. Anyways, I also noticed that he did a bunch of the buildings on the University's main campus.
So last night, I went for a walk around campus and of course I was accompanied by my camera. So here are my blog entries:
My first stop was Angell Hall
Then Hill Auditorium
The Tower...Well not *THE* Tower as that's in Ypsi...:)
The Grad LIbrary
West Engineering Building
The C.C. Little Building
The Natural History Building
I hope you all enjoy.
Great way for my office to end our Tuesday. Who said the quote? Sheen or Tyson
Wow. I became a member two years ago to the day. We were just getting over the year of infinite pain, Rodriguez was still our coach, and Tate Forcier had barely been in Ann Arbor for two months!
Here's my first two diary posts ever. They include things about Maize jerseys(I've seen the error of my ways on that one), night games, rawk music, and other things people thought were crazy. I kid you not there's multiple posts on the 2nd one saying night games would be a stupid fucking idea! Now look where we are! We're about to have our first night game in Michigan Stadium history.
Where does the time go? When I wrote those diaries two years ago I was just a little freshman in high school, and today I took my ACT!
I must say it's been fun discussing Michigan sports on here with all you guys. Thanks for accepting me even though some of you can double my age and still not equal your own :) It's nice to be able to talk Michigan sports with people who know as much as you, unlike probably my whole high school minus 10 people.
So here's to two years, hopefully the world doesn't end in 2012 and I can make it two more!
Go blue! Beat state!
A great Michigan man! He's starting a school for innercity youth:
Dr. Charles P. Muncatchy, the former Mount Clemens Community Schools superintendent who was chosen to develop and lead the academy, said Rose's involvement with the project comes down to unfinished business.
"He had his wonderful career at U-M, a wonderful professional athletic career. And right now he has a wonderful career as an analyst (for ESPN). But in his heart of hearts, he wants to make a difference for kids in the heart of Detroit. He simply wants to do his part. He's an atypical kind of man. A lot of people say this and say that, but Jalen Rose is a man of action, and he wants something very special to happen. I wish there were thousands of people who have done well in life who want to give back like he has."
For Rose, the academy, which will begin with 120 students, and add a like number for the next three years, might be just the start.
I saw this in the Meijer sale flyer this week.
Do you think the Ad agency found a good model?
