"The University of Illinois is also in turmoil. The university sports an Interim Chancellor, an Interim Athletic Director, and an Interim Football Coach; the game will be played at Soldier Field, making this an Illini Interim Home Game."
Michigan will play at jacksonville on Friday, 3/2 at 3:30pm at EverBank Field. It will be the first Michigan Lacrosse game in program history to be broadcasted live.
Michigan also takes on mercer at EverBank on Sunday, 3/4 at Noon which is a neutral site game, also at EverBank. That game will be broadcasted as well.

Michigan fell to 0-4 on the season this afternoon as they lost to air force 15-6, in Denver in a neutral site game. Michigan started the game on a 3-0 tear but air force went on a rampage scoring NINE unanswered goals which ultimately proved to be too much for Team One.
Michigan will travel next weekend to Jacksonville,FL and face two fellow upstart programs. They will play the jacksonville dolphins who are having a pretty good season so far which includes a blowout win over navy last weekend. Michigan will play them at 3:30pm on Friday, March 2nd.
On Sunday, in arguably the most winnable game on the schedule for Michigan. Team One will take on mercer in Jacksonville in neutral site game at 1pm on Sunday, March 4th at Noon. mercer is in search of their first win this season.

In Michigan's first conference game, they lost to #12 denver on the road today.
I had a very bad feeling about this game the moment denver was upset by ohio last weekend.
Michigan was 7-26 on faceoffs today which was a big factor why denver had a field day. Could have been much worse but DU's coach always empties his bench when games are out of hand.
Michigan will play air force tomorrow at 1pm EST at denver's stadium so it will a neutral site game. air force has no defense, so expect a lot of offensive fireworks.
Game was on NBC Sports earlier. ohio beat them 10-9.
ohio played very cheap IMO. Once they got the lead they kept passing the ball back and forth for about 75% of the 4th quarter. denver got a goal to close the gap at 1 goal with under a minute left, but their shot at the horn was blocked. There really should be a shot clock in college lacrosse because that was absolutely rediculous not to mention boring.
The game was played at EverBank Field in Jacksonville,FL. Michigan will play jacksonville and mercer there in March. Speaking of JU, the dolphins destroyed navy in the second game of the doubleheader today. JU is only in their second(?) year of NCAA Division 1 Lacrosse and it seems they're coming along nicely as a program.
Michigan gets denver on the road next weekend on Saturday. Oy. They're gonna be pissed. Hold me TomVH.
Current ECAC Standings
Michigan plays their first ever road game and first ever ranked opponent.

What the headline says.
University of Michigan men's lacrosse head coach John Paul announced in conjunction with his counterparts at Ohio State (Nick Myers) and Penn State (Jeff Tambroni) the establishment of the Creator's Trophy, which will be an annual award among the three Big Ten schools that sponsor men's lacrosse.
A team that earns a 2-0 record against the other programs will take ownership of the trophy each spring and have its name and the year inscribed. If all teams earn a 1-1 record then no team or year will be recorded on the trophy and it will reside with the most recent team to win it outright. Following each game, a player of the game from the winning team will be selected.
Ohio is a conference rival at the moment, but Penn State is not - they play in the CAA. But this essentially cements a nonconference game against PSU every year, as if we didn't mostly expect that already. A neat idea.
I would give Penn State a slight edge over Ohio this year, but it shouldn't be long before U-M is competitive with these two schools. I think by 2014 - the program's third year - we could be in contention for this thing.
