“The player development is the main thing I like (about Michigan),” Williams said. “You can see that they develop their players. They get them in the gym and they work them hard. And their hard work pays off.”
Michigan beat Mizzou 26-9 tonight at home. A quick look at stats and Michigan dominated the game start to finish. We play MSU next weekend.
I thought this might bring a smile to some of you out there, i know it is little compared to what could have been tonight.
I was curious, since Men's LAX will be going to division 1 soon is there also a women's team going up too in order to follow title 9? Are we already up 1 on women's sports?
Michigan lacrosse beat UC-Santa Barbara tonight 21-0. UC-SB is a decent team and Michigan dominated them from start to finish. Michigan had a huge advantage in shots on goal (53 compared to 16) and faceoffs improved greatly winning 16 of 25.
This win puts Michigan 9-0 on the season and with next weekend being the biggest two games of the season as Michigan plays Colorado State (#3) and Arizona State (#2).
Michigan beat Boston College 14-7 tonight. This game seemed to be closer than the score indicated as BC outshot Michigan 40-34 and dominated faceoffs BC winning 16 of 24.
I guess none of this matters as it is still a win. Tomorrow night is a huge game against UC-Santa Barara who is currently 6-3 and ranked 10th in the MCLA. They lost to Michigan State Thursday night 10-11 so they should be pissed off and at least hoping to get one win out of this "Midwest" trip.
Not exactly ground breaking since Brandon has been pretty open about his plans, but good to see (for us lacrosse alums at least)...
By the way, the team is 7-0 and ranked #1 in the MCLA. They have two home games this weekend, both in Oosterbaan Fieldhouse. 7pm tonight vs. Boston College and 7pm tomorrow vs. Cal Santa Barbara.
Next weekend is their big home stand. #2 Arizona State and #3 Colorado State come to town. If you're curious, that's the weekend to get out to see them.
Just a quick update for those interested in M-Lax. Final 20-1. Pitt did not score until the 4th.
7-0 on the season, next up Boston College (2-1) and UC-Santa Brarbara (6-2).
