Minnesota up 1-0 with an early goal.
For those big Hockey fans, the Frozen Four is always an exciting event. This year returns the big-name teams missing from last year's event with BC, North Dakota, and Minnesota all in the tournament.
Right now Union and BC are tied 2-2. Later North Dakota plays Minnesota.
And down in Augusta, Bill Haas leads after one day at -4. Adam Scott, last year's champion, is tied for second at -3 with the champion from two years ago, Bubba Watson, and 2010 British Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen.
And at 7:00 the Michigan Men's gymnastics team has the preliminary round of the NCAA Championship. Michigan should hopefully advance to the final round with ease. It should also be noted that star Sam Mikulak won the Nissen Emery award, given to the best college gymnast. Basically the Heisman of Men's Gymnastics. Results can be found here:
Feel free to discuss anything related to these or any sports in general.
Union and Boston College playing right now. Minnesota and North Dakota are on later.
Now lets win this game
Edit. Just thought i should add this (Dats on Crosby):
For those of you not enthralled by the basketball game going on right now, let's take a trip down memory lane, three years ago today...
The CCHA Champion Michigan Wolverines had a tough test against #2 (Human Poll #1) North Dakota, who was eyeing its 8th NCAA Title. The Wolverines had few believers and were dominated most of the game, but a guy named Shawn Hunwick made 40 saves to allow the Wolverines to win 2-0 and advance to the National Championship game.
And you know... Stay Classy...
Very, very hapoy to hear this. Copp's leadership has been a thing since his Freshman year.
Maybe he'll captain this team to the NCAA tournament next season. Release is on MGoBlue.
