UM-friendly bar locations across the US (and elsewhere)
A couple weeks ago, I put together a google map with all of the Michigan bars I'm aware of (and also everything from the spreadsheet that bouje has been maintaining.) The map is here.
Hopefully this will prevent the "where's the Michigan bar in Pittsburgh/Fresno/Topeka/wherever" threads that pop up every week, but if your favorite gameday hangout isn't on here, put it in the thread and let me know. I'll do my best to keep the map up to date.
Midwest Elite 7 on 7
Elimination Rounds are tomorrow from 9 - 12 at Avondale High School. Anybody ever gone to one of these? Is it worth a 20 minute drive?
Also, does anyone know if any Michigan targets/commits are supposed to be there?
Mike Farrell: Michigan and Hokies tied in lead for Da'Shawn Hand
Mike Farrell just tweeted this about Hand's recruitment (yes, we are recruiting players not named Jabrill Peppers, just in case anyone forgot).
I think #Michigan and #hokies are tied in lead for Da'Shawn Hand with #gamecocks behind them at this stage.

This is a definite shift from before, as for a while he seemed pretty set on VT leading us for his recruitment. And with Mike Farrell's annoying habit of being very accurate with his predictions, this bodes very well for us, giving us a great chance to get the #1 and #2 players in the nation (at least according to Rivals).

Who's Your Favorite Michigan QB?
Being that I had a rare Friday off and absolutely nothing better to do, I watched the BTN special on the 1997 Michigan National Championship team. I had always had a lot of respect for Brian Griese, but I think he moved into the top spot for me in terms of my favorite Michigan signal callers. He will never go down as the most talented Michigan QB, but he just used everything he had to be as good as he could be on every snap. With that being said, I'm curious which QB the MgoBlog community would have as their favorite Michigan QB.
