In the good ol' days, my late July would involve unwrapping the latest NCAA video game, downloading a Denard Robinson cover, and hyping myself up by winning 5 NCs in a row with Michigan.
Now, since the NCAA is dumb and won't pay players their value, we don't have that video game to look forward to. What signals you that football is coming? HTTV, various hype videos, other MGoBlog stuff helps... but I'm missing that NCAA videogame fix.
...days until Delano Hill runs onto the field while the best band is playing the greatest fight song ever written, touches the banner, and beats Hawaii.
Delano is a three-year letterman. He has appeared in thirty-three games and started thirteen of them. Just in case some people don't know, his younger brother is LaVert Hill, a four-star recruit from Detroit Martin Luther King who committed to Michigan in February.
Just as the title says. Steve Wiltfong has placed a crystal ball prediction for Donovan Peoples-Jones to Michigan. Things are looking good for the Maize and Blue.
Should be noted that this isn't my video. Just saw it on YouTube.
My review: Weird, catchy tune. Solid video quality. Great editing. Non-standard fare for the video clips. Incorporates Michigan's history and draws visual parallels to the current state of things.
On my morning commute, I heard ESPN1000 Chicago promoting an event featuring Jim Harbaugh. He will be reuniting with former Chicago Bear teammate, Tom Waddle, alongside his co-host, Marc Silverman.
