Two quick tidbits:
Steve Lorenz is reporting that, on the first day after the the dead period, Jim Harbaugh will use his in-home visit with Nico Collins. Link
Do you think it will be a sleepover?
Sam Webb had an interview with Aubrey Solomon's mom that he played yesterday but was recorded at the U.S. Army All-American Game. In it she said that, "Michigan is her favorite." Her list is Michigan, Georgia Tech, followed by Alabama. She believes Michigan provides a better opportunity after football. She says Aubrey lists them as Alabama first with Michigan and Georgia (not Georgia Tech) tied. It's worth a listen Link. Scroll down and look for "Aubry Solomons mom."
Consider the source but this would be a pretty fascinating shift if they decided on it. Air Raid to acedemy-style Triple Option would pretty much be the biggest cultural and strategic change you could make.
It is my understanding that one of the more common hopes for 2017 is the offense improves its OL. The improved OL will enable UofM to run a 4 minute offense i.e. bleed time off the clock at the end of a game we are winning (see Iowa and OSU). Or am I wrong, is this a RB issue?
My basic question for the board is this a reasonable ask?
I don't have numbers in front of me, but it always seems like the losing team has the ball at the end of the game due to time outs.
I know a good 4 minute offense would give the opposition the least amount of time possible, as well as rest the defense, but it is not reasonable to expect every game to end with a UofM kneel down.
What is the appropriate level of success for the OL / 4 minute offense next year?
Not surrender any 4th quarter leads?
Enjoy and GO BLUE!!
During intermission at the Preds game, I looked up at the TV monitors above the bar and saw Coach Harbaugh being interviewed at the Kentucky/Vanderbilt basketball game. He gives a great explanation why he was there:
