this guy evidently hired to work for AD
Besides sounding kinda dirty, I've been seeing this error a lot today.
I assume it is a server capacity issue, due primarily to several thousand of us F5ing incessantly all day long.
I'm wondering if this site has dedicated servers, like in Brian's basement, or if it uses a cloud service?
Either way, I propose some sort of fundraiser to increase the server capacity. Any ideas?
/had to stop thinking about the CC for a min.
By the term "catching up", I use that term loosely, because in my opinion college has always been better to me, but as far as money that these big schools bring in. If we do lure Harbaugh to Ann Arbor, is there any chance that a trend starts? Could that be why we these NFL guys are so stubborn with their opinionated reporting? They all probably worked through the college ranks and on to the NFL because that's what the "main road" traveled was for so long.
But, let's face it. College Football is not what it was 30 years ago, and neither is the NFL. I know they bring in a lot more money, but they pay it out in contracts as well, which limits what they can / will be able to offer coaches.
Sorry to interupt any CC - laser tag talk
A far cry from the "no chance" talk we've been hearing from NFL folks.
A summary of things I thought were most interesting:
"49ers HC Jim Harbaugh’s family and friends have been encouraging him to take the Michigan HC job, but he is torn because his heart is in the NFL, per sources close to the situation."
He'll wait to make a decision until after the 49ers last game, and the 49ers "getaway day" on Monday, December 29.
Mrs. Harbaugh is open to going to Ann Arbor if it's what Jim wants.
- Jim is not concerned by the notion of college recruiting because he did well with it at Stanford.
I'm still feeling 50-50 on this.
Boys, you must strive to find your own voice. Because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are to find it at all. Thoreau said, "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation." Don't be resigned to that. Break out!
I have been trying my damnedest not to get my hopes up for Harbaugh. Repeating to myself "it's not such a big deal, there are plenty of good coaches out there." But the internet got me. I am bursting with hope. I have Harbaugh fever, and there is no cure. If we do not get him now, I will weep like 2 year old. Probably for days. And you?
I tried to embed this and followed the directions to a T but got iframe instead of Flash and well, you'll just have to click through. If someone more adept than me wants to embed this, I would much appreciate it.
