CBS Article: FBS Conferences To Split To New Division?
It seems it's only a matter of time to be honest. I'm in my 8th year of athletics administration and I feel that in the next 20 years, the big schools will leave to form their own 12-team conferences.
Will players be paid? Maybe. Could see some other dramatic changes.
Just call it Division 1, Division 2 can be the leftovers + a few (current FCS) schools, Division 3 can be what is now FCS, Division 4 the current D2, and Mount Union can play for the Division 5 Championship.
In trying to make things more simple, I just confused myself.
Brandon on Uniformzzz
The good news is they have no plans for alternate unis this season. The bad news is Brandon left the door open to future changes including to the helmet. The worst part of the story is Brandon's continued use of the "student athletes love it" line that is such an obvious pretext for what is really just a marketing ploy to sell more jerseys.

Scouting Report: Chase Winovich
This week's scouting report is on Clairton (PA) Thomas Jefferson linebacker Chase Winovich. There seem to be some positive vibes about him as a potential Michigan commitment, although Ohio State and, to a lesser extent, Pitt are also options. Michigan really needs some more options at the SAM position going forward.

Denard vs Tebow (kind of)
Those bastards made him lace up, too!
A nice write up for Denard while loosely comparing careers (potential) arcs with Tebow.
OT: Florida Asst. Calls Nick Saban "Satan"
Florida Asst. coach Tim Davis refers to Saban as "satan". I will give you all time to find your gif's. Ready go......
Future Non-Conference Opponent Recruiting Watch
Somebody was going to do this sooner or later, right? UPDATE: Unfortunately I have run out of time to work on this and was not able to prepare a composite chart; maybe when (i.e. if) I get a chance to update it. Now with composite chart! UPDATE #2: Arkansas added
