What in the sweet holy hell is going on here? Is this for real?
I wonder if he'll address over-signing...
Above is some OSU notes. Basically it says that the entire team has the ability to read at the 2nd/3rd grad level, and that they all curiously worked at the same car dealership over the summer.
Seriously there are some updates if interested. What really pissed me off is the last bullet heading on the page:
* The Buckeyes typically end practice with what Jim Tressel calls the Maize and Blue period, when individual position groups work on something to make them better for Michigan. Today was the first time I remember the Buckeyes blaring "The Victors" over the loudspeakers during that period, I think because the upgrade of the practice facility includes a new sound system.
If there is any justice in the world Tressel will get what he asks for, and at the end of The Game in November the Victors will be the only fight song blarred loud and proud in that half built track field those people call a stadium.
I apologize if this has already been posted.
Chris Bryant, who has Michigan very high on his list, is now the 193rd ranked player nationally and earned his 4th star. Per Rivals
"Bryant absolutely destroyed the competition at the Sound Mind Sound Body camp this summer, a very strong camp featuring top prospects from the Detroit area and beyond. He has a powerful punch and moves his feet very well. He is a natural athlete in a big body"
Iowa- Wants to Run, then thrown to wide open tight ends.
Wisc- Pounds the Ground, throw to tight end.
OSU- Scare you with Pryor, thrown wobbly pass 40 yards down middle of field- have receiver run under the ball.
PSU-Run Royster to Record- QB's have no experience.
Indiana- Good trio of WRs, but seems like they like to run from pistol more often than not. Can Chappel get enough time to throw?
ND-Floyd is really scary, but who knows if Crist will be able to get up after Martin eats his heart.
Purdue- Pass spread attack, breaking in New QB
I am pretty upset with losing T-Wolf, but on the bright side I don't see elite WR/QB combo talent that we should be so super scared about. Last year we were torched by very talented Big Ten tight ends. Improved LB play should help there.
Stop the run, then help those cover guys by zone blitzing on the 3rd and longs. Offense can really help out by getting up early, closing out games, and munching on that clock.
Really? What is wrong with people in Alabama? It's like they practically worship Saban (or whomever is the head coach and is winning) more than Jesus.
According to ESPN BYU is close to leaving the MWC to become an independent in 2011. Perhaps this portends an eventual move to the PAC-__ or a desire to allow it to schedule its way into the BCS should the team be good enough.
Either way, Orrin Hatch just became less interested in developing a playoff system.
