I had been under the impression that all Big Ten games during the 3:30 ABC/ESPN slot would be available nationally. I have Directtv at home here in Maryland. Because the UNC-Clemson game was on the ABC station here (DC), regular ESPN was blacked out because the national ESPN feed had that game. The Michigan-Michigan State game was on an ESPN alternate or overflow channel. I watched the first 3 quarters at home on that channel (no HD though). At 6 pm we had to go over to a neighbor's house for a social event and the host and I tried to find the game there on his TV. He has FIOS and ESPN was also blacked out for him, but we couldn't find any alternate or overflow channel with the Michigan-MSU game. Was it there, but we just couldn't find it or is this a reason to avoid FIOS? (It was available on a computer in his house via ESPN3.)
This will probably get nuked in no time, but RCBM is reporting that starting senior corner C L Rucker has been suspended for at least the next game for the ever popular "violation of team rules."
I cannot believe how many comments I've read talking about how Denard should be on a "short leash," and that we should see what Tate and Devin can do.
Were you guys under a rock for the first 5 games? Denard is the future of this program, and yesterday all that happened was he showed that he's human. He single-handedly brought us to a 5-0 start, is the most electrifying player in college football, is at the top of almost every Heisman list, leads the nation in total yards, and you guys want to pull him because he had a game where he didn't play that great yet still picked up over 300 total yards.
He's young, he's inexperienced, and he's going to make mistakes sometimes. But he's still Denard, he's still the future of the program, and there's no way one game should put him on a "short leash" considering all that he's accomplished to start this year.
Mike Hart puts Indy on his back to stave off (it would appear) the Chiefs upset bid. Scores on an 11 yard run. Good to see him getting meaningful snaps. Love that guy.
Florida slot/runnig back Devondrick Nealy just sent me a text. He hasn't left Michigan yet, but he wanted to tell me the visit was "Tremendous." I'll have more once he leaves and gets back home.
**He didn't commit, but he said, "very close though."
