Not sure what to think about this game. Purdue looked great against Illinois but other than 2 years ago, Purdue hadnt won in Ann Arbor in a gazillion years. A month ago, I thought Purdue was similar to Minnesota but now they actually seem mediocre.
I have put together a bracket challenge for all 8 Divisions of the MHSAA Football playoff tournament. I figured there are quite a few people on here who "somewhat" follow high school football, and I thought this would be a pretty cool bracket challenge we could compete against each other in. Just go through each division and pick your winner for each round. If anything else .. you can at least follow along throughout the high school tournament, as I will update the brackets round by round at the end of each game.
Also, here is a link to all of the match ups, and each teams overall schedules and records.
I had a question regarding the placement of teams and was hoping the Board could help me out with it.
So let's assume that either Stanford/OSU/Clemson win out and get called up to the National Championship. Will the Fiesta/Orange/Rose select a team from the conference to fill the void? Like if Stanford wins out will the Rose Bowl pick the PAC Runner Up? Or Oregon? Or would it be a situation like Texas in the Rose Bowl, where another AQ team gets a nod?
I don't really know the specifics of how the BCS picks the At-Large teams besides they have to be Top 14 so if anyone can clear this up that would be awesome
According to TVH and tweets and retweets of Payton, he is loving Notre Dame. Commitment watch may be put to a halt.
Lets just hope he is saying he likes it bc he is there and not bc he actually really likes it!! I think its safe to say that many people have been anticipating Payton to commit to M this week. if we lose out on him, our WR targets suddenly get a little more concerning as i think he was the best of the bunch.
Anyone know when Madaris or Darboh are thinking of announcing?
