Don't forget to vote, mofos! Somebody get this man a Heisman!
RR says T-Rob has been moved outside to fill in for Odoms and that he expects more LBs to play this week.
So, having recently moved out to the Bay Area, and getting through the process of acclimating to West Coast football coverage, I was trying to look up information on the background of Nevada's excellent QB, Colin Kaepernick. The first thing I found was a recruiting profile from Rivals, and I wanted to share a little chuckle I had, when, off to the side, in the 'Similar QB's' list, I saw the face of one, David Cone! Both were apparently 3 star pocket passer prospects. One has put up ridiculous Run/Pass numbers, and one saw mop-up duty against Baby Seal U.
sometimes, recruiters really get it wrong.
Clippers fans hate Lakers fans with a passion, but Lakers fans dismiss Clippers fans and take condescending approaches like 'It's cute that you guys support such a joke of a franchise' and 'It's cute that you guys think this is the year that the Clippers won't fall apart,' which drives Clippers fans even crazier than they already are. You know those college cities where the townies detest the rich kids from campus, or a multicollege city where the kids from the less-respected college openly loathe the kids from the well-respected college a few miles away? That's how the Clippers fans feel about the Lakers fans. Pure hatred.
Replace Clippers with Sparty in that paragraph and Lakers with Michigan and tell me that doesn't just fit perfectly.
"FREDERICK, Md. — The Army says it has discovered a simple blood test that can diagnose mild traumatic brain damage or concussion, a hard-to-detect injury that can affect young athletes, infants with "shaken baby syndrome" and combat troops."
"Doctors can miss these injuries because the damage does not show up on imaging scans, and symptoms such as headaches or dizziness are ignored or downplayed by the victims."
This will be great for protecting the health of players, but if this gets adopted by NCAA/NFL be ready to see a lot of people sitting out the following week after games.
Now that we've blown Gardners redshirt (yeah i know this fact has been discussed plenty so thats all im gonna say about it), I think this is the smartest course of action going forward:
Note: I dont think this strategy will actually be employed
Starter: Denard (Jr)
Backup: Tate (Jr)
Redshirt: Gardner (RS Fr)
Starter: Denard (Sr)
Backup: Gardner (RS Soph)
Redshirt: Tate (RS Jr)
Starter: Tate (RS Sr) or Gardner (RS Jr)
Starter: Gardner (RS Sr)
Backup: Sousa (RS Jr) or other
This would give us veteran starters and backups for the next 4 seasons.
