I'VE HAD JUST ABOUT ENOUGH OF YOU SONNY
Anybody know if this exists?
As we all know Dee is visiting for the UCONN game, here is a little update per Rivals
"The UConn game [Sept. 4] will be my official visit," Hart reported. "I'm coming up with my uncle, my quarterback and our safety, Hasean [Clinton-Dix]."
"My excitement level is high," Hart said. "I'm looking for big things out of them this year, hoping they will turn it around because next year they will be a whole lot better. I'm looking for a big win against UConn. UConn is a top 25 team, so we'll see."
With a big win, all the emotion from Brock walking us in, we can make a huge impression on Dee and HaHa!!!
Anyone going to the game that weekend? Me and a bunch of buddies gonna be there sporting our Maize and Blue, would be good to know of more people there, and to know where everyone will be hanging out...
Jets play the Giants in their first preseason game tonight. Will interesting to see how often DW sees the field and what he does. Assuming he is on the fringe this may be his best shot to do something. Darrelle Revis is still holding out so DW may get a few more snaps. Also expecting he will get a shot on special teams which will likely determine whether he has a chance to stick.
My brother, a casual college football fan, has enlisted my help in his CFB fantasy draft taking place this evening.
My knee-jerk reaction was GET ROBERT GRIFFIN...question to those who know more than I. Is he healthy this year? If you were making recommendations, who do you make a priority? Kellen Moore? Although, this may be limited to BCS only conferences. I will confirm.
Thanks and 19 FUCKING DAYS, HOW 'BOUT IT! GO BLUE!
I know this has been beaten to death, but I just saw a note from an insider where he mentions that about 20 guys did not participate in summer workouts. I have never played div 1 football so I don't know what usually happens but this seems incredulous to me. I had a better participation rate on my high school team 20 years ago. I know about the whole voluntary vs involuntary, but the way RR & Barwis set up their program I just assumed you either participated in the program Barwis set up for you or you were never going to play so you either just quit or transferred. I didn't see there being a gray area, considering the whole "playing time is voluntary" quote from RR.
If anyone has played or has intimate knowledge of what actually is supposed to happen I would appreciate it because this just doesn't compute. I assumed the weight coaches got everyones class schedule and they scheduled your workouts around your class schedule and you showed up 3-5 times a week to get your work in.
