The title says it all. I have a feeling Bosch will creep into five star status on at least one or two sites by the time it's all said and done. Always nice to see our commits get some love.
Offensive lineman Kyle Bosch (Wheaton, Ill./St. Francis) was part of a flurry of Michigan commits this past weekend. The 6-foot-5, 282-pounder is impressive on tape and moved up slightly to No. 42 overall.
Another recent Michigan commit, outside linebacker/jumbo athlete Taco Charlton (Pickertington, Ohio/Central) moves up approximately 50 spots in our Top247- checking in just inside the top 100 at No. 99. After further review of his film and comparing that to his size and athleticism, we felt like Charlton has the type of upside that could not only make him a star in Ann Arbor but also land him in the National Football League one day.
A third Michigan commit to make a big move is offensive lineman David Dawson (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech). He debuts in the Top247 at No. 195 after further film review.

Also, I think Shane was previously 15, and now he is 14. That's already 6 commits in the 247 top 100!
Per South FL Sun-Sentinel:
Not official, but apparently imminent. Not completely surprising given the coaching change.
Graham Watson (frequent contributor to Dr. Saturday at Yahoo! Sports) wrote up a really interesting article in response to an Ohio State sign that compares the academic majors of current Ohio State football players against those of Michigan's players.
It's a great article, and I'll let you readers interpret from it what you will.
Link is here.
[Edit: FWIW, Graham Watson is a lady. Not at all relevant to the story, I just saw a lot of comments referring to 'he/him' and thought it should be stated.
Davonte Neal (2012 ATH, ESPN 5*) scheduled his decision for this morning at his former elementary school. The elementary school pulled out all of the stops, including taking 600 kids out of classes to come witness the announcement. The kids were encouraged to chant things like "we're just like Davonte!" The news, of course, was being streamed by at least one state-wide news outlet.
Neal didn't show up to his decision. The kids waited for over an hour before the principal finally disbanded the assembly. Word has come from twitter that Davonte and his Dad were arguing over his decision (it's late February.) this morning. His father wanted him to go to Notre Dame, but Neal wanted to go to Arizona. Neal did not call to cancel. No word has come out of the Neal camp yet, but I find this absolutely disgusting.
Recruiting has become too big.
AN ACUTE CASE OF MICHIGANITIS
(Click the image to view full size)
Soo, yes... the biggest February weekend in recent Michigan history is in the books,
and like the rest of us, Tom Blockham is still recovering. If you think MICHIGANITIS
is a fabrication... just ask your wife on a Saturday morning, or your boss on a Friday
afternoon. It's real, and it was a true PANDEMIC Saturday and Sunday.
May it show no mercy in 2012.
For those of you that publish blogs, contribute stories, or otherwise comment on the
goings on of all things Michigan, you can probably agree that it was no small feat trying
to find the right words to do it justice. I can handily say this was not my first attempt
at addressing The Best Weekend Ever in the comic strip medium-- but in the end it
just came back to the characters, which I hope you've enjoyed getting to know better.
Speaking of which... new character alert for Thursday's strip. Stay tuned.
THE BLOCKHAMS™ runs every Tuesday here at MGoBlog, and at least every
Thursday on its official home page. Also, don't forget to check out our newest
feature, Friday Roughs, a spontaneous low-end comic based on trending
Michigan events, available on Twitter and Facebook every Friday.
Follow THE BLOCKHAMS™ on Twitter at @theblockhams.
I'd also like your collective help! I'd like to invite everyone to
LIKE THE BLOCKHAMS™ on Facebook at www.facebook.com/theblockhams.
If I break 250 by Friday I'll promise an extra strip that day on top of the Friday Rough!
LIKE THE BLOCKHAMS™ on your own Facebook page today and get updates
for every strip as soon as it's posted. Thanks again and GO BLUE!
