RR was just on ESPN. Here is the rundown of what he said:
- Proud of Denard Robinson thought he was very calm and composed
-Tate and devin are still competing getting better, which makes Denard better
-Same preparation this week as any week
-Not worried about ranking
-18-19 guys first road game is very important for them to stay calm and relaxed
-ND shows a lot of odd fronts and has very active linebackers
-Hopes it's not a high scoring game
-Very proud of staff, players, and fans for sticking with the plan
-Steelers and Lions fan
-Takes the Patriots and Lions in the Super Bowl
-Never thought about coaching in the pros, he's very happy where he's at.
Have to tailgate with the grandparents for WMU this weekend (they go back to Florida Sunday) , any suggestions on the best website to stream the game? or what websites will stream the game?
It's interesting to hear that Pryor and LeBron are buddies and he might be at the game on saturday as his "guest". I think the NCAA should keep a close eye on this relationship.
While all of us are well aware of Michael Floyd and Kyle Rudolph and the threat they will pose Saturday, and rightly so, my concern defensively is if the pass works, watch out for Armando Allen. I watched most of the ND game, and I was very impressed with him. IME, ND's skill players are better than any we will face this year, Crist aside. And the fact that Kelley loves the quick passing game will challenge our d-line to get pressure. This should be very interesting defensively.
I was reading on ESPN one of the numerous Michigan secondary disaster stories and I was sort of excited to think about 2011 and possibly getting Woolfolk back to go with the all the experience the other guys are getting.
Then I thought to myself this seems silly because it was only 7 months ago I was arguing with Magnus the pros and cons of playing Woolfolk at CB as opposed to safety and now look where we are at. What in the hell is going to happen to this team over the next 12 months? Based on the ridculousness of things so far I think Dre Kirpatrick is going to transfer from Alabama today so he can be ready to go next year for us.
So my MGoblog search to look at the hilarity of the comments people posted on that thread brought me to Brian's "Spring Position Battles" post. For anyone feeling down down today it's quite a read.
I think the best part is that if you would have posted the current depth chart as the depth chart in March people would have been jumping out of buildings like it was 1929 and the market was crashing....7 months later most people have confidence we can take this crew into South Bend for a W.
I guess hope is a many dreaded thing
