Over on one of the Scout boards, I just saw that you can sign up to receive NSD text updates for Michigan. Just text UMSIGN to 51234. I just did it myself and it looks like they'll send you a text for every LOI received.
For those following the changing landscape that is college athletics, the Big XII Conference will be announcing their college football schedule on Wednesday, February 1st.
So far the Big Ten, PAC-12, and SEC have announced their conference schedules, with little to no drama. The ACC teams know who they will play - they just don't know when.
Commissioner Chuck Neinas announced he expects West Virginia to play in the Big XII in 2012 (read: WVU will be listed on the Big XII Conference schedule). Problem? The Big East will likely include West Virginia on their schedules, which will likely be released in late February/early March.
Commissioner Neinas's statements can be found here.
EDIT: The Big XII has released their schedule with ten teams to their television networks, per their contracts, but will not release their schedule until next week at the earliest, partly due to NSD and partly due to the WVU fiasco. More information can be found here.
As we look ahead to the next season, who do you think is a candidate to switch positions? I know some people think Jake Ryan could move down to the defensive line (I'm not one of them), but who else do you think could end up moving around?
I'll throw one out there: Keith Heitzman to TE. With little depth at TE I could see this happening. He's currently listed as a DE, but he played TE in high school and is listed at 6'3", 251. We have a lot of depth at the DE positions, so it wouldn't hurt to move him.
