"Rodrick Williams Jr.'s 10-month old, 2-foot-long savannah monitor named "Kill" gets the RB some strange looks when they go for walks together."
I was watching ESPU's coverage of signing day a little while ago while home for lunch, and they did a short segment on what's going on with Michigan recruiting. The last part had the panel talking about UM, and Urban Meyer raved about the Mattison hire. Meyer said that in his opinion Michigan not only signed one of the best defensive minds in the country, but quote "the best recruiter in the country". Yes, Urban Meyer said Greg Mattison is the best recruiter on the country. He said that Mattison's recruiting style is parralleled by noone. Obviously everyone feels great about the hire, but hearing it again from someone of Meyer's caliber (hate him or live him) is pretty nice to hear. Hearing things like this is what make us all excited to see what Hoke and Co. can do next year with a full year of recruiting.
While it may be too late to cause a "major" impact this year, things sure look good on the recruiting front going forward.
You have to love all the positive mentions/articles out there from area highschool coaches towards Hoke.
Coupled with (as mentioned by another poster in the Liveblog) Hoke going out of his way to name each and every HS in the current signee presser... He's really seems to be getting things back to another level around home.
Can't wait for next year's class, even more than this one.
OSU proving, yet again, that they keep it classy. One of their recruits, Chris Carter, is in a bit of trouble with the law.
Actually, this story is hilarious.
Edit: It's not the fact that this individual did something disgusting that makes this story hilarious. It is the fact that OSU is associated with negative press. I didn't think I would actually have to make that delineation, but there you have it.
