"I love it that Ivy League coaches are coming to our camp and Big Ten coaches are coming to our camp. South Florida is coming. We've got about 70 schools that are coming to our camp."
Hello Fellow MGoBloggers,
Some of you may be familiar with me, but if not, I'm usually that guy who posts things that attempt to make people smile, laugh, or snicker. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it falls flat, but I try my best to instill some form of humor into posts for those who may be pulling their hair out and/or stepping close to the ledge.
Now, I am currently in South Carolina staying the night before the final push to Jacksonville to watch our Wolverines beat the MSU Whatever-They-Ares, and I was extremely discouraged to see the amount of hostility and anger and emo and CC posts (my GOD, the CC posts!) that I missed in about a day's worth of driving. I now see what the board crumples into without my wit to keep it sane (I'm kidding of course...about my ability, not about the insanity; THAT'S out of control!). What's even more concerning is that the next time I should be able to post is after the game on New Year's Day.
So, as a result of my nature and my inability to post, I have a simple plea for the board in the next 36+ hours: Civility. We all have one thing in common: we love the Michigan Wolverines, with heart, soul, passion, vigor, and sometimes sweat and blood (you know who you are). It is because of this common ground that I know we can all come together on New Year's Day and make our resolution to put aside the CC talk, whether you are a RR or JH supporter, and to quit with the talk about mgopoints (1st rule about mgopoints....), and just root our hearts out for our boys in Maize and Blue.
I hope you all have a wonderful New Year. Stay safe so you have a chance to watch the game, and let's put aside our petty differences and remember our one BIG common denominator for what will surely be an amazing game to watch. Go Blue!
(Also, I don't want the blog to asplode when I'm gone, because I need something to come back to, dammit!)
Now that Tate is ineligible to play in the bowl, who is our backup QB? Would it be Gardner, even though he's trying to get a medical red shirt? Who else do we have at QB?
So rumor has it that RR may be heading to Maryland. This is most likely the case if he were to get fired from Michigan. I can't see RR leaving Michigan for Maryland if DB gives him a vote of confidence, but we'll see.
Sorry if this has already been posted, haven't seen it on the board.
..but the thread was blown up by a ridiculous 'I know you are, but what am I?' argument. I thought some of us might want to actually comment on this development. Here I go:
I think Tate should be suspended indefinitely. This leaves me to truly wonder now if Tate does plan to transfer, blew off the class(es) he doesn't like, and gladly took the free trip to Florida. And the consequences? It is more likely than not that DR will have to sit out a few plays during the bowl game, which means DG comes in and burns his redshirt. That would be a significant blow to the future continuity of this program...
