According to Sam Grant's Scouting Ohio page, he added an offer from Oklahoma. Not sure if it affects him at all, but OU's had some solid tight ends of late.
Amusing article ($) from TomVH where he gets 2012 recruits anonymous opinions on the recruiting process and their knowledge about Michigan:
The most hilarious one:
Other than Michigan where did you have the best visit experience?
One person said: "Michigan State was the worst"
Also, the "weirdest things heard throughout recruitment" is pretty funny.
Heard John Bacon speak in Indianapolis last night. As I'm sure you all know, he gives a funny and engaging talk about how Three and Out transpired, etc. I guess the one bit of news that emerged for me (others may know this) is that the unidentified SEC school mentioned in the book that had chicks waiting for recruits in their beds was Florida ... under Urban Meyer. Shocking I know. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
Happy Holidays and Go Blue
A slow week on the 'blog is just beginning so this might be post-worthy:
I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that, if Hoke reels off four straight wins (yes, please) against MSU, there won't be any helmet gifts specific to that accomplishment.
Not that many people thought Iowa had much of a chance against Oklahoma anyway, but the loss of Coker is huge for Iowa, especially since they have no backup with significant carries this year.
Very OT, but I searched and it wasn't posted. The gif is just too good not to throw up on the board. Evidently, an electric cart got loose at the Texas High School 5A football championships. This was the result.
STEEERIKE! (Everyone is ok, so it's funny.)
