I recently got in an argument with one of my MSU friends who claims that the spread will not work at BCS-caliber level football... I just can't wait to prove that wrong. I see so many parallels between this offense and ours; both are based on zone-read option, and this year, Oregon returned 19(?) starters... which is about what we return again next year. The only thing missing is a breakout running back, which hopefully Dee Hart will fix.
(not good with embedding... sorry!)
Post your user name and team choice for a PS3 Online Dynasty starting later today. Any teams are available. Non-conference games vs. human opponents.
Michigan is only team taken.
We will forward every 3 days.

I was talking with my two favorite types of fans, OSU, and MSU (sarcasm inserted). We were talking about what would happen in a few different scenarios. I thought I had a good idea of what would be the case but I wasn't exactly for sure. They had no clue. I thought that in result of a tie they first looked at matches between the teams and if their was a tie still they went to the BCS rankings. below are the 3 scenarios I remember. I appreciate any help or links related to this topic.
3 way tie: If Sparty loses to PSU with Wisconsin, and OSU winning out-making it a three way tie. Who wins the Big 10 title?
3 way tie: Sparty loses to Iowa and wins the rest of their games and so does Wisconsin and OSU. Who wins the Big 10 title?
3 way tie: Sparty loses to Iowa but Iowa beats OSU. Wisconsin wins out creating a three way tie between Sparty, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Who wins Big 10 title?
I hope Michigan can throw a monkey wrench into all these scenarios!! Thank god for a conference championship game next year!!
Thanks for your help!
I just took a look at TomVH's twitter account, and he retweeted the following from Stonum (CornellStone22):
Looks like Roundtree and Ricardo Miller are gonna have some competition! If he keeps up his hard work, I think Stonum has a very good chance.
Her response: "Yeah, but that's only frightening if you're a Michigan fan."
I'm not sure who won that conversation.
These are two pretty well coached teams (except for the final 12 secs) and it was great they are both top 15, but give me a f*&king break. This was like watching two old heavy weight boxers lean on each other in an over-hyped title match. I am not sure how many shots of Clayborn wheezing on the sidelines I really need to see. His flick of his hair is darling when he takes a knee, but give me a break when Wisc is a little to fast for you.
Listen, I thoroughly bought into the idea that we could not use a pro-style offense to compete with the USCs of the world (maybe this year) since we could not get enough skill position players to ultimately win championships. I also feel the lumbering Big Ten teams will become extinct like the dinosaurs, but damn it lets speed that up. It's year 3 and I am tired of watching teams simply out execute us. We have the conditioning, we have the scheme, I want to f*&king start burying our brethren in the Big Ten that have had their comeuppance while we have been figuring this all out. Send the dinosaurs back to the stone age, make them compete on our turf and lets put some fear back into the rest of the little 8. Go Blue.
