there would have to be some to wash away
Let's be realistic. Although most of us would love to see full game UFR's for every single team we play, they are extremely time confusing. In the past Brian has stop UFR's when the game gets out of hand one way or the other or the game is just too depressing to slog through. With that said, where do you think Brian should realistically stop his offensive UFR this week?
Although I would love to see the whole thing I think a reasonable stopping spot would be the drive the finished at the beginning of the 4th quarter with a Smith TD and the score 51-22. The O starters were still almost completely in and in the unlikely event there was a pick-six the game would have been within two scores. Where you guys think he will end his UFR?
So, according to:
Mike Williams will be meeting with doctors this week to discuss his playing time and/or future since suffering multiple concussions. Is he done?
If so, are players granted a medical scholarship still allowed to attend team meetings/events if they like? Can they still use the player weight rooms? It would suck so bad to have your entire football identity wiped out. Can we send him a get well card?
This gave me goose bumps - CAN'T freakin wait to get home for little bro.
Mods - if this is out there already, please delete.
EDSBS has posted a fine rebuttal to the question every Captain Obvious has asked: "You know, is gonna get hurt, and then where will Michigan be?"
The question applies so universally that it has no specific value. Plug it in with any player: "What ifgets hurt?" (Answer: "They'll play the next incarnation of behind him.") "What if gets hurt, and then where will Florida be?" (Answer: "We'll just give up on the pass game entirely and bypass those frustrating drops on four yard hitches called on 3rd and 5," that's what we'll do.) "What if Jordan Jefferson gets hurt?" Well, LSU will probably play Jarrett Lee, and then really spectacular things start happening.
Yes, Michigan might be in trouble if Denard goes down. Just like every other team would be in trouble if they lost their best player.
Head coach Tom Coughlin said Manningham will not practice and will undergo further testing to gauge his availability. Manningham underwent a test Wednesday morning before he was held out of practice.
That's disappointing to hear. He seems ready to have a breakout season in NY. Here's to hoping for a speedy recovery and a solid season/career.
I didn't see this anywhere on the message boards, so I thought that I'd post it. From Troy's twitter feed:
Just had to "google image" myself to stop them from taking me to jail cause I got pulled over and didn't have my license.
