Hey guys, I was able to interview Ondre Pipkins today and had a few questions for him. Thought you guys might wanna take a read as he was a relatively entertaining interview: LINK
After being asked about the Green Bay Packer fans long standing tradition of mooning the visitor busses, Raiola had this to say. "I get to the stadium too early. I don't see that. But that'd be pretty awesome to see. I don't know if I want to see any of those people naked. They're not in real good shape up there." he went on to say the following about Packer fans in general, "It looks like they live a simple life. They love the Pack and that's pretty much it."
Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with Mr. Raiola. Cheese, brawts and beer are tasty, but they really don't do a lot for the waist line. Keep your pants up, Wisconsin.
Champs Sports Bowl: Florida State vs. Notre Dame
Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium, Orlando, FL
Watch this video to get appropriately pumped up for the game:
Yahoo's Matt Hinton (Dr. Saturday) described the video best: "There are a thousand previews of tonight's showdown between unranked Notre Dame and barely ranked Florida State, and all of them combined fail to match the insight in this 43-second acid trip from the geniuses at Catlab, who have boiled down the matchup according to its most essential elements: Burt Reynolds, demented leprechauns, coeds shotgunning beer, Regis Philbin pumping iron, Rudy sprinting through the bowels of Notre Dame Stadium and — most importantly — noted Orlando native/FSU alum Scott Stapp squaring off against Touchdown Jesus."
according to Joe Schad on twitter.
Rivals is releasing the first 5-stars of the 2013 class and Cameron Burrows is one of them.
For those who don't remember him, Burrows is a CB from Trotwood-Madison in Ohio. Here's a quick write up from the linked Rivals' article:
Burrows is every bit of his listed 6-1 and 195 pounds. Prospects with that size usually get projected to safety, but Burrows is a lockdown cover corner with great speed and quickness. He played cornerback and saw spot duty on offense as a wide receiver for a Trotwood-Madison team that took home the Division 2 state title this past fall and finished with a perfect 14-0 record. On defense, Burrows finished with 26 solo tackles, 20 assists, 12 pass breakups and four interceptions, including one he returned 80 yards for a touchdown in a state semifinals win. He also added eight receptions for 198 yards and a touchdown.
They list his top schools as Ohio State, Alabama, and LSU.
I know that we've offered him, but does anyone have any idea of our chances at landing him?
