Not out to complain after a win like that, just wondering what was happening on many of the negative runs? I was not sure if this issue was from alignment, our tendencies or just good defensive play calls. It is one thing to get stopped and another to have guys waiting in the backfield. Pelini mentioned wanting to bull rush up the middle to slow Denard and our offense which now seems to be the default strategy against us. This could also be due a perceived weakness with our interior line, would appreciate any insight.
Anyone have an idea of when it's happening this year. I believe Jeff Holzhausen (sp) is the guy that puts it on and I can't remember what date time we went last year.
I would assume either Tuesday or Friday are the best options, but if anyone knows for sure, please let us know.
If anyone is wondering what I'm referencing, It's an annual tradition where ~50 fans head out to Forest Hill Cemetery to lay flowers at Bo's, Yost's and Ufer's grave sites. Any and all are welcome.
Michigan recruit Stefon Diggs helped his school, Good Counsel, finish undefeated this weekend. Diggs scored on the first play of the game to start a blowout. Per the Washington Post, this Good Counsel team was one of the best ever in the greater DC area. More detail is in the link.
Here's hoping this kid goes blue.
Look's as though they are seeing the writing on the wall?
The game from this past weekend is being replayed on ESPN right now (4:40 AM). It's playing until 6 AM so if any of you are like me and don't sleep at normal hours or if any of you are looking for something to brighten your day as soon as you wake up, tune in to watch.
Shaq Thompson has eliminated us after this weekend. His new top 3 are ASU, Cal, and Washington. He's taking his last official visit to Utah in 2 weeks. He also semi-eliminated Oregon and said this,
"Those three have my attention right now," he said. "I was feeling Oregon too but the more I think about how small Eugene is, I'm not sure that fits me. I'm kind of a big city guy."
I'm not sure how big Eugene is but I don't really consider Ann Arbor a big city.
Barring something crazy happening, it doesn't look like he'll visit. We always knew he was a longshot but it was still nice to think we had a fighting chance.
