this week in unintentionally grim-sounding recruiting headlines
Here's an idea:
let's hire a very well regarded coach, who runs a system completely different from ours.
lets give up our power I system for the spread.
our new guy is an offensive guru, the defense will take care of itself
will the in-house power structure accomodate getting away from the style of play we are accustomed to?
Tell me the difference.
I'm early - it starts in about 10 minutes.
This one is rather significant in that it will be the last time these two teams play as in-conference rivals. If I recall correctly, there are only two other rivalries which have played more often than this one, so hopefully we're in for an interesting game.
The UFR viewer web app is now available for viewing the Offensive "Upon Further Review" report for the Nebraska game. Video links are provided to all plays, thanks to MGoVideo.com.

Happy Thanksgiving, Go Blue, and Beat Ohio everyone!
In this Rivals article, a former UMich player compares Drake Johnson (by all other accounts, an awesome straight-line runner who has difficulty with lateral moves) to, of all people, Mike Hart (pretty much the opposite):
Comparisons aside, I believe Johnson is one of the most interesting recruits in the class.
Most of you have probably already read this story, but I believe it should be read every year before the game. It reminds us why we hate Ohio so much, and why beating them seperates the good teams from the great teams. Enjoy.
I know that Dunn and Kalis will be there, but I have not been able to access Sam Webb's podcasts via the WTKA website. Is anyone else of note showing up?
