that's unfortunate, but at least the interest is there on both sides
According to ESPN reporting on ESPN, Urban Meyer asked off his assignment announcing the Michigan-Ohio game tomorrow.
I'm going out on a limb, and saying this probably has something to do with him becoming the new coach of the Golden Bobcats.
An effort to help combine everything inane about The Game and matchup including, but not limited to,
- People looking to buy/sell tickets due to unforeseen circumstances
- Anecdotes about personal experiences with Buckeyes
- Choice snippets from OSU message boards/blogs
- Score predictions
Let do it? O LET DO IT!
(btw: need 1 ticket 4 tomorrow kthx)
Has anyone been there to watch games ... or is anyone going there?
"Can you imagine the meltdown in Ann Arbor if the Buckeyes go to Michigan tomorrow and defeat the Wolverines followed by an official announcement on Sunday or Monday that Urban Meyer is the new coach at Ohio State?"
Hey Bill, can you imagine us handing tsio their ass tomorrow, and Urban Meyer failing horribly and resigning due to "health concerns" 3 years later? That's the meltdown we're all looking forward to.
Look what the guy at Rivals wrote...
"John Borton: A lot of folks apparently think it's cute that Michigan's head coach shortens the name of the final regular-season opponent. It's not. It's disrespectful, unseemly, and dripping with the sort of discourteousness a fellow Big Ten institution doesn't deserve, especially one that's been under attack for months by the ink-stained wretches.
It simply needs to stop, and stop now.
Michigan 27, O. 17"
What a douche. And then he goes on to write O.?
What do you all think? Why are his panties all up in a bunch over this? Or am I missing his sarcasm?
EDIT: On a closer read, I am thinking he is being sarcastic. I mean he says, "it simply needs to stp and stop now". and then O.17 (showing them getting beat by two scores).
Subtle sarcasm is good.
