I'm in the market for a new durable, easy set-up Michigan tent/ shade for tailgating. Obvioulsy there are several options online, but wanted to get some opinions on what works for others. I know that the EZ-up's are nice, but I haven't found any of that particular brand with the "M" logo.
Also, is there anyone out there that has this sideline shade? Is it big enough to walk under, or is it more for sitting?http://www.tailgaterzone.com/michigan-wolverines-sideline-shade.html
So just wanted to get everyones take on the recent roster moves...
We have Stonum.. kinda.
We have lost 2 guys at our thinnest positions.
We have lost one of my favorite recruits from last year.
So, as it stands...
When the 2012 class marches onto campus next year, assuming they redshirt, there will be 5 OL on scholarship in front of them.
4 wide receivers (including slots)
3 interior defensive linemen
4 Exterior defensive linemen
6 or so linebackers, only 2 of which I am hopeful for or positive they can contribute.
How does this change Hokes focus on maybe only getting 1 DT in this class? (assuming Godin rolls into the 3Tech DT)
At this point it seems essential to land a WR, and also at least 2 interior DTs. We can wait for a center for next year, but I would love to get a good center prospect on the board as well.
I know a few people have expressed concern over one of the recruits saying that the Michigan coaches told him they will only be taking one receiver. As of right now I don't believe that's the case. I believe they will take two. That can change with other numbers and other commitments, but as of now I think they would take two.
Looks like we are sitting nicly at nuymber 2 class at this point and with some reevaluations of players later on into next season I hope to keep us in the top 5...We be great for Hoke and staff.
I know it has been discussed here before, but my attempts at searching for old info yielded no fruit. So, I appeal to you distinguished mgoblogamaniacs to help me understand where the medical harships and Kellen Jones situation leave us. I remember many were expecting a class of 18-19 and the news of a mega class (25-26) was met with some surprise and wariness. With those four departures, how much attrition and/or non-renewed fifth years should we expect/require to make room for a class of 26?
Not knowing all the rules, I assume Pace, Talbott and T. Jones would not hit our APR since they are medical hardships. K. Jones does not since he did not enroll in school? I don't know where that falls. Stonum I assume would hit our APR if he is indeed released from school. I hope he can sort himself out for his own sake and not our APR.
Any clarification would be appreciated.
