landing spot. will be interesting to see how he does.
To continue what has been a monumentally awesome weekend for the University of Michigan, 247 appears to have Michigan leading for consensus 5 star Jabrill Peppers. This is particurally significant because Jabrill also visited Ohio this weekend, and they don't appear to have made as big of an impact with him as Michigan did. He also posted a picture on instagram of his "new top 5", which was a screen shot of 247 basically calling Michigan his number 1 school. There is of course a long way to go in his recruitment, but the fact that we were his favorite school growing up, and his visit reenforced that, is very positive.
Another great thing about this, is that Michigan is firmly in the mix for the Number 1 and 2 players in the country according to rivals. (The other being Da'shawn Hand)
Well, it looks like Meyer is not stopping at Webb and is now going after sophomores Weber and Alabi. One the one hand as a player to get offered by OSU you have to be psyched, on the other hand it's a little frustrating to see kids from one of our pipeline schools considering our arch rival. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news if you hadn't heard. Don't slam me for sharing the info. Here's the link, although I think it's paywalled.
The Bentley Historical Library used to be a great spot for information about Michigan sports teams (particularly football). See this link for an example of what I mean.
However, they seemed to have stopped updating the site after the 2010 season, and thus there is nothing on there about Hoke and company's first two seasons.
Anyone out there with a clue as to why this is?
Didn't see that this had been posted but found it to be a great story.
As previously posted on this blog (and news outlets everywhere), former USC commit Brian Banks, served a 5-year prison sentence for a rape he didn't commit, and was later exonerated. Now the Atlanta Falcons have signed him. Just awesome to see that his life has been turned around as he richly deserves.
title says it all. Never sounded like he was that high on Michigan, and hopefully can lean Berger closer to Michigan. Good pickup for the bux though
