this week in unintentionally grim-sounding recruiting headlines
Ran across this tidbit about 2013 RB prospect Green that was posted earlier today, and I didn't see that it has been over-analyzed yet on the board. Go to it...
"Top247 RB Derrick Green tells @ clintbrew247 that yes Clemson is in front, but Michigan will be hard to say no to."
Earlier today when being questioned about the band, Dave Brandon also said that he would be announcing a home game against a Pac-12 opponent soon, as part of the Big 10/Pac-12 partnership. We already know that Sparty will be playing Oregon soon, so I highly doubt we will be looking at the Ducks for this game, but who else might it be? USC's schedule is empty after 2013, and seeing how they have recently traveled to OSU I think there is a good shot the Trojans visit Ann Arbor soon.
As the internet is the best place for speculation, does anyone have any other ideas, thoughts, kitten pictures...?
Brady Hoke is hitting the road in Ohio today and tomorrow. He spoke to the HOF Luncheon club today which hosts a different figure from football each month. JT was a regular at these things and word is they reached out to Urban but he didn't have a monday open to make it. Coach is also scheduled to attend and speak tomorrow night at Massillon's spring football kickoff dinner. I'm definitely happy to see him hitting the recruiting/PR trail in northeast Ohio so hard - the area produces a ton of D1 talent and any edge over OSU can only help.
