It appears Ohio State may have more problems .. possibly involving Terrelle Pryor ... involving a $606.00 car repair invoice paid for by the Ohio State compliance department. It appears the funds were taken from the "Student-Athlete Opportunity Fund". It is not known if the funds were used for Pryor's vehicle, but either way, it appears to be a violation.
Ohio State University's director of NCAA compliance signed an invoice for more than $600 in car repairs for a student-athlete, that may have involved Terrelle Pryor, in April.
According to a document obtained Friday by 10 Investigates, Doug Archie, the university's director of NCAA compliance, signed an invoice for a six-hour car repair to Auto Direct for $606.
A purchase form signed by Archie said that the money came out of the "Student-Athlete Opportunity Fund," 10 Investigates' Paul Aker reported.
Some examples of how the fund is supposed to be used include summer school, medical expenses, travel for family emergencies or academic achievement awards.
"I can't believe the NCAA considers auto repairs an emergency situation deserving this kind of funding," Adams said. "I don't think there is a good faith explanation. I think it's real troubling to find that at this stage in April that it's paid for by a fund that is not related to auto repair."
"The university and Big Ten (Conference) have the discretion to use the fund in circumstances where there is a financial, medical or other emergency," according to statement released Friday by Ohio State. "This fund was permitted by the Big Ten Conference."
Ohio State officials declined to comment about the document that 10 Investigates uncovered.
Has anyone heard any reports/info regarding summer workouts and 7 on 7's?
I know these are all voluntary (lol), but are the players allowed to practice on the UM fields if no coaches are present?
Those countdown to kickoff clips cannot come fast enough. Assuming they will continue to do them under Hoke.
We have often discussed the likelihood of Shane Morris being a 5-star QB. In this article, Scott Kennedy gave his take on Shane's performance at the IMG Madden Football Academy 7 on 7 Tournament and thoughts of where he'll ranked. This quote stood to me:
Kennedy says "I don't know where he'll be ranked overall in the Class of 2013, but he'd easily be a Top 10 guy in the class of 2012"
Maty Mauk is rated as the 10th QB by Scout.com and he's rated 4 stars. So I would say based on his opinion Shane will be at least 4 stars also.

Hey all -- I mentioned on Tuesday that I would be putting together an authentic Michigan roster based on a previously downloaded roster. These rosters have all the names (excluding our boy Pryor) and I really wanted to focus on Michigan's. I adjusted ratings based on the spring and customized all equipment/looks based on previous games, practices, etc. Yes, I am OCD with this but I need my roster to be as authentic as possible. I also did tweak some other major players around the country with some slight equipment changes.
Moved Cam Gordon from SS to OLB
Moved Kellen Jones from OLB to MLB
Moved Marvin Robinson from FS to SS
Moved Jack Miller from DE to C
Bumped up Jake Ryan's rating to be equivalent/better than JB Fitzgerald
Bumped up Carvin Johnson to an 81 overall at FS (from 71) and tried to tweak his skills to be stronger in the "ball hawk" category
Bumped up Will Campbell's rating to be equivalent/better to Quinton Washington (word around campus is that BWC has really improved even from spring to 7 on 7's) to have a battle for the other DT spot with Martin
Replaced backup MLB Paul Gyarmati and created incoming freshman RB Thomas Rawls and gave Rawls a strong rating (not starter material but definitely worthy of playing time)
Replaced Seth Broekhuizen with Matt Wile (sorry, Seth)
Numbers Note: I did my best with numbers as it's impossible to have everyone with the correct number. I do know that Marrell Evans is incorrect, along with Tony Anderson, Chris Bryant, Russell Bellomy and probably Jack Miller (since we don't know his incoming number).
That's all I can think of off the top of my head as I am away from the 360 right now but I hope y'all can use these. If you have any suggestions, concerns, problems, let me know.

In light of the Mandel SI article on OSU possibly getting off light, I've just been wondering if we should even be expecting an updated or amended Notice of Allegations from the NCAA to OSU. Mandel seemed to think that OSU would get off light simply because the NCAA's NoA was light on actual allegations, as opposed to the other purported instances of wrongdoing that have been floating around (i.e. in local news, in very informative SI articles, interviews with former players, etc). It seems like many of the other instances of wrongdoing left out of the NoA can be proved, but that they've still been left out of the scope of the NCAA's "charges" to this point. Why? Can we expect more before the August hearing (I think that's the date)?
November 22nd, 1969 on BTN right now, if anyone is interested. I have never watched the game the whole way through. It was, after all, played about eight years before my birth.
