It may seem crazy, but this game was 5 years ago today:
Are we better off now than we were then? Which team would win, 2014 Michigan or 2009 Michigan? What's the one thing/decision you would have changed from the last 5 years?
I don't know, I guess half a decade is as good a period as any to look back on, and it is kind of ironic that the first of the three exciting wins against Notre Dame comes almost exactly 5 years before our worst loss ever.
50 colleges are participating - with UofM on the list.
kind of cool I guess

From The Detroit News
Former Michigan receiver Csont’e York, dismissed from the team last month for his role in an assault captured on video that left a man with a shattered jaw, has enrolled in another university.
York, charged with one count of aggravated assault and two counts of assault or assault and battery stemming from an incident July 18 outside an Ann Arbor bar, is enrolled at the University of Toledo. His name appears in the school’s online directory.
A spokesman from the Toledo athletic department confirmed York’s enrollment but said it’s unclear what his status is with the Rockets football program. He has to sit out this season because of transfer rules.
“We are aware that Csont’e York has enrolled as a student at the University of Toledo,” the athletic department official said in an email to The Detroit News. “He is not on athletic scholarship. His status with our football program will be determined at a future time.”
I didn't anticipate doing a wallpaper this week, but after Saturday's abismal outing I was inspired. This wallpaper is a take on The Dark Knight Rises movie poster. Michigan doesn't exactly need to crawl out of a giant hole in the ground, but they definately need to RISE up to be succesful this season. The photo of Devin Funchess is from Bryan Fuller's MGoBlog album on Flickr. Enjoy! Beat Miama (not that Miami)!
P.S. I didn't realize how much this looks like an Adidias ad.
Welcome to Friday...yea!!!
Secondly we were reminded twice this week of the wider world. We had someone return from a foreign land in which he was glad to just read the board when he could as it was a slice of home. We also of course remembered 9/11. We have a great deal to be thankful for, we get to watch and cheer on a team we love, in a sport we love. Win or lose I support and root for Michigan.
Beat Miami (NTM). Go Blue.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Well, I am home early enough to catch some football for the first time in about a week.
You have two choices:
On CBS, Louisiana Tech and North Texas currently in progress - the 0-0 score just screams offensive explosion in a B1G way.
On ESPN, BYU versus Houston, just starting as I type.
ADDENDUM: Most forgetful of me not to include our NFL viewers this evening - Baltimore is up 10-3 on the Steelers as that game slides into halftime.
