landing spot. will be interesting to see how he does.
I have noticed that new coaches often have early success. Tressel in his first years at OSU, Carr at UM, Hoke at UM, Meyer at Fla, Miles at LSU, Stoops at OK, Pellini at Neb. etc. But then things sort of slow down after that and the momentum subsides. Just wondering why it may be that a coach's best years are often their first years.
There's another NFL opening. This could have a lot of implications with PSU as well as other colleges with the NFL calling Stoops, Franklin, etc. It would be pretty funny to see Franklin leave Vandy to take over the Titans, even though that seems unlikely.
What say you? Munchak to PSU as HC, or even a coordinator?
I have a hundred or so Michigan Football and basketball VHS tapes that my dad made beginning in 1985 or so. I can no longer house them (according to my wife). Against her wishes, I would like to donate them to someone who may enjoy seeing "the good ol' days" once more. She would like them donated to the landfill just west of town. I feel like that would be a travesty.
I live in the Northville area and will give them to the first contact who offers to pick them up. Shoot me a note at yo_solutions @ hotmail . com if you are interested.
The list of tapes includes most Ohio State games, most ND games, most MSU games, most Bowl games, some of the basketball NC season, many of the non-conference football games between 85 and 2000. There is a mix of many random games as well including the hockey NC season.
*** NOTE ***
Thanks for all the responses - several MGoBloggers contacted me and we have a winner who will have the tapes picked up next week. I appreciate the interest!
Looks like the final game in the series against the fig thing chickens will be a night game.
This is a must win game for historical purposes.
Irishhome game against Michigan will be a night game and will be televised in prime time by NBC.
