Well I don't think it was really in question after the video came out, but it looks like it just became official.

3 appearances in the Top 25! Unfortunately/fortunately, 1 of those is a home game...
Sharon Katz of ESPN gives UM a good chance to start 7-0. According to the article
New offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier should bring toughness and physicality to an offense that was wildly inconsistent last season. Nussmeier's first task will be filling the gaps in an O-line that allowed the most negative plays (sacks and tackles for loss) in the nation. With an improved line, QB Devin Gardner should be able to return to his 2012 form, when he had the highest QBR (91.0) of any player in the nation with at least 150 action plays.
I did not know that Devin had such a high rating in 2012. It then goes on to say
Michigan's toughest early-season test will be at Notre Dame, a game with considerable historical significance, as it will be the last scheduled meeting between the two schools. According to FPI, Michigan has a 55 percent chance to beat the Irish. In every other game through Week 7, the Wolverines have at least a 70 percent chance to win.
Three other teams are mentioned as being underestimated.
Arizona State unveiled alternate uniforms today and the strong rumor in the Valley is that they will be used in their November matchup at home vs. Notre Dame.
You may or may not like these aesthetically - personally, I think the helmet/copper facemask is sharp but I don't like the jersey. But that's not the point....the egregious crime against all that is sacred in college football is that ASU's traditional colors of maroon and gold (e.g. yellow) are nowhere to be found. It is also impossible to ignore that these are highly reminiscent of ASU's PAC-12 Conference foe Oregon State.
Nike, Adidas, Under Armor...they are all the same. Just thank God that (at least so far) Michigan has stuck to maize and blue.....
The first Inside Michigan Foootball TV episode will premiere next week at 5pm on FSN Detroit per the guide on my TV.
Sadly, I'll miss most episodes on air date if they stick with that 5pm time due to one of my classes just getting out at 5, but luckily I have MGoBlueTV. If you miss any episode, MGoBlueTV subscribers can watch it again on the site.
mgovideo did most of the shows last year. The radio show will premiere 8/27 on Wednesday night for MGoBlueTV subscribers. Or, you can watch it live via the free stream on the Pizza House website.
For those of you who enjoy rotating wallpapers during the season to
mock highlight our weekly opponents, I thought I'd submit one for Appalachian State. I hope to have a new one each Monday (yeah, I know this one is early), similar to what momuMental has done in seasons past. In my opinion, his work is second to none (if you haven't yet had the privilege, check it out) but I believe he only does wallpapers for marquee opponents now. If that's still the case, I'll continue to offer a wallpaper on Mondays. If not, I'll kindly cease and desist :-).
For the Appalachian State game, I struggled with whether to dub it "the Horror II" or not. On the one hand, it's awefully catchy and reminds us why Dave Brandon even thought this game would be mildly interesting. On the other, it seems to suggest the possibility that this year's game could have a similar outcome which... [insert curse word]. In the end, like Brandon, I went with brand recognition. Without further ado, I give you:
