chance of bowl: 13.6%
Vegas just released the updated baseball odds for 2012. They show:
Tigers at 14/1 to win the World Series
Tigers at 15/2 to win the American League
(Apologies for lack of link. I'm behind a nasty work naughty filter that prevents betting sites as a category. Perhaps someone can post link)
Weren't the Tigers pre-season favorites to win the World Series -- something like 6:1?
Btw. Today's updated odds show Yankees at the top with 9/2 odds to win WS, Texas at 5/1. Yankees and Rangers are tied at 5/2 to win the American League
There's an article over at ESPN on UofM recruits fraternizing with Ohio recruits at The Opening. (LINK: http://espn.go.com/college-sports/recruiting/football/story/_/id/8143990/michigan-ohio-state-rivalry-put-hold-opening)
Really, just a piece of fluff. But as I think about this, it just goes to who people are. If someone is cool and you get along with them, it doesn't matter what school they go to, or will go to, or went to. The flip side is true: just because someone is at Michigan doesn't automatically mean that you're going to be friends.
I remember several Michigan athletes who were jerks. And also have known some from other schools who were good guys. You never know.
Erik Magnuson took a picture of his new Michigan locker on June 22, which incidentally had his number on it.
He will be wearing No. 78.
I figured a lot of the incoming freshman who have similarly found out their numbers would have updated that info on their twitter profiles, so I did some "research." Lo and behold, here's what the twitterverse says so far:

Does anybody know where I can find video of the screen passes that we ran last year?
The local radio personality (Walt Deptula) was previewing Alabama for this season during my ride home last night. He was stating that they could be starting 3, count them, 3 RS-frosh at the LB position. So I decided to ask the board, if you were Gorgeous, how would you attack them?
I realize they are very gifted players, but they are young, and could make some mistakes in their reads, first step, etc.. So, can you read option keying on the LBs, use slants with a clear out, counters? What would you use to take advantage of the inexperience at LB?
Andrew interviewed incoming linebacker Royce Jenkins-Stone. He talks about his current size, future position, nicknames, and more.
