Jordan Lewis ran a 4.55 / 40 (official 4.54)
Channing Stribling ran a 4.68 / 40
1st run of the day for both. not sure how much time they give them before the second run, but not very good times considering it looks like most everyone is running in the 4.3 - 4.47 range.
My bad, I forgot the 4 in my original post, but it looks like times are dropping after they have become official anyway. If his time doesn't drop, it isn't really isn't much different than other highly rated / considered corners.
Lewis : 121 Broad jump / 34.5 vertical
Stribling : 114 Broad jump / 31.5 vertical - Striblings 40 has been updated to a 4.60
Dorian Thompson-Robinson now says he has no leader. This is a major change in the recruitment of the #1 QB on Michigan's board, who has long maintained UCLA as his leader. His vocal favoritism of UCLA, plus their hiring of Jedd Fisch and his commitment timeline, had made me very skeptical of our chances with him. However, if he is backing off of that position, even if it is only due to recent high profile offers (Alabama), I like our chances much more, especially if he comes into his April visit uncommitted. If it is truly a level playing field now, I would expect us to be the major favorite after his visit to Ann Arbor.
In case you didn't know, his mother is a University of Michigan graduate.

I also think that being a Michigan Wolverine means to BE GREAT. Yes it's a blast to see how great our 14 combine representatives are doing. But I have a lot of pride in not only how they played on the field but how they've carried themselves off the field and in front of the cameras. Integrity, humility and class. That cant' be said for a lot of programs and a lot of conferences.
Of course, we can't expect these young men to be perfect all the time but they are under the spotlight and have really carried the banner and lifted this school. I can't wait to see which teams they end up with and I'm positive we will be hearing from of lot of these guys after their playing careers are over. Of course I'm biased as an avid supporter for over 40 years.
At Michigan, we have a higher standard. We should have a higher standard. We've definitely had some ups and downs over the years. But it makes me proud to wear the block M when I travel frequently across the country.
From the standards in the classroom, to the excellence on every sporting field, to even the small things like this blog rallyiing for anonymous strangers in need. Supporting our teams and coaches and fans for the hands down best University in the World, makes me proud.
IT'S GREAT TO BE A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE!
edit. I realize the error of my ways. Was watching the combine reports and feeling some pride. But I forgot this board was full of menly men who are here to anonymously rip every post they read. Lesson learned. Will keep my thoughts about my school to myself. (go blue?). Neg away!! You show great power in doing so!!
