With the negative attention the NFL is receiving for player behavior, it will be interesting to see how they handle this. Apparently their is a video of them hitting each other.
The police issued tickets to both of them which would obviously mean that she hit him first. This is still a very strong man who obviously struck a female very hard. The video does not paint a pretty picture.
This week's scouting report is on Jersey City (NJ) St. Peter's Prep cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick, a 247 Composite 5-star and the #4 cornerback in the 2015 class. He could play a variety of positions at the next level.
It seems a big part of Kain Colter's argument at the first day of the hearing was about how big of a time commitment football is.
From what he says, it's not entirely clear what he himself thinks unionizing will accomplish. One of Colter's biggest complaints was that the time commitment for football made it impossible to pursuie his desired academic track. But that's not something that's going to change even if the players do get bargaining rights - it's not as if they'll be asking for fewer practice hours. All NCAA athletes have to devote a huge amount of time to their sport and inevitably run into the dilemma of conflicting priorities. Even if football is the greatest time commitment out of all of them, where do you draw the line as to which athletes are "employees" and which are not? What's the difference between a Northwestern football player devoting 50 hours/week and a Northwestern women's basketball player devoting 40 hours/week, other than that football has a bigger audience and brings in more money?

I was watching Moe Ways senior highlights and I like what I see. Size, speed, hands, balance. He high points and has an extra gear. Thers few clips of blocking, but whats there looks competent. The question I have is; he always gets free release behind the D. Has anyone seen him deal with an MSU style jam? He's got the size to beat a corner, but does anyone know if he can/does?
OU Football players penalized for eating too much at a graduation banquet.
To have their eligibility reinstated, the three had to donate $3.83 each (the cost of the pasta servings) to charities of their choice.
I thought the NCAA was supposed to be "re-writing the rulebook" and eliminating stupid rules like this and 'Bagels, but no cream cheese'. Guess not...
