here's one vote for "John Beilein's head in a Futurama jar"
A couple weeks ago, I put together a google map with all of the Michigan bars I'm aware of (and also everything from the spreadsheet that bouje has been maintaining.) The map is here.
Hopefully this will prevent the "where's the Michigan bar in Pittsburgh/Fresno/Topeka/wherever" threads that pop up every week, but if your favorite gameday hangout isn't on here, put it in the thread and let me know. I'll do my best to keep the map up to date.
Just trying to ease the pain of the last month of the off season
Has some of the biggest plays and hits from the 2014 season, Michigan is in there a few times.
Dudes, I don't know about you, but I lack some very basic knowledge about football. Enter the Space Coyote interview on this Wisco podcast. It was very helpful for me, and I hope you'll feel the same way!
Rivals has a nice series called "Mount Rushmore Michigan" that is free. It rates and talks about the top five all time at each position plus the ones who just missed. So far they have RB, QB and WR.
Day 4 in a row.... why not? I just poured a nice tall glass of Rochester Mills Milkshake Stout as I'm trying to recover from being the runner-up for my dream job.
What's in your glass?
This popped into my head when Brazil played Germany, and with the way the Brazilian's have started against the Dutch, just solidified the thought.
So pick your favorite non-Michigan team, and imagine they're playing in the semi-finals for their sport. You've got a friend we'll call "Bob", who can't watch the game live, and is DVRing it and bubbling up until later that night.
But you watch it live, and it's a blowout. Over in the first 10 minutes of the game. Soul-crushing. Etc. Etc.
So my question is, do you spare "Bob" the pain of watching the game, "live", and shatter his bubble?
Or do you let him experience it all?
