THE ORIGINAL POST:
A couple weeks ago, I put together a google map with all of the Michigan bars I'm aware of (and also everything from the spreadsheet that bouje has been maintaining.) The map is here.
Hopefully this will prevent the "where's the Michigan bar in Pittsburgh/Fresno/Topeka/wherever" threads that pop up every week, but if your favorite gameday hangout isn't on here, put it in the thread and let me know. I'll do my best to keep the map up to date.
The hits just keep coming.
And, I do not mean to make to take this situation lightly, or disrespect the victims of these horrible acts. I hope the victims eventually find peace, to the extent possible, within the legal system.
Normally not news, but in light of some edge of the internet speculation that this brings down the entire athletic department yada yada, Dentinio was extended another year today at the regent board meeting. Much of his 2016 class? Allegedly...not so much. Her last quote is probably the more interesting piece of news in light of the fireworks supposedly going on.
Simon spoke following an MSU Board of Trustees meeting where Dantonio’s (sp) rollover contract was approved and said that was an indication of her feeling about the program under Dantonio (sp), who is entering his 11th season.
“My sense is that if we weren’t, if we had anything to be concerned about, we wouldn’t have moved forward with the action today,” Simon said. “We’re still looking at everything because it’s in his interest as well.”
She also said that she didn’t believe the investigation would find any “big issues.” “I have no necessary concerns that there are big issues,” Simon said, “but the confidence of the community requires that we look at it diligently.”
Sam just reported on WTKA that Michael Johnson won't be the 10th position coach at Michigan after all. Instead he will be the WR coach at Oregon, so Pete can go bother Taggert for hiring Johnson so his son can play in his system.
Yeah, even Jim thinks the idea of spring weather being here soon is funny.
But hey, it's Friday. Almost time for booze.
