this guy evidently hired to work for AD
A couple weeks ago, I put together a google map with all of the Michigan bars I'm aware of (and also everything from the spreadsheet that bouje has been maintaining.) The map is here.
Hopefully this will prevent the "where's the Michigan bar in Pittsburgh/Fresno/Topeka/wherever" threads that pop up every week, but if your favorite gameday hangout isn't on here, put it in the thread and let me know. I'll do my best to keep the map up to date.
This evening on the west coast Rick Neuheisel gave his take on the Harbaugh decision. Here he is with Jim Hill from CBSLA Sports:
Rick: ...this is a tough tough question but if I were counseling Jim Harbaugh (and I’m not sure he wants my counsel) I would tell him you go take that Michigan job if the numbers are as reported, 49 million for 6yrs. You take that and you run! And know this, he played at Michigan, he personifies everything that Bo Schembechler and the Michigan Wolverines stand for in terms of physical play, toughness, aggressiveness. He would bring that back to the Wolverine program…it’s what they so sorely miss. I think that’s where he goes and look at it this way, if it doesn’t turn out well he hasn’t burned his card in the NFL. He can come back to the NFL and make it work at that time but 49 million for 6 yrs, it’s hard to say no to that.
Jim Hill (sports anchor): Yeah but sometimes the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
Rick: Well that’s obvious but if you’re having to make a choice and it can’t be the 49ers, I think you go and put that Maize & Blue helmet on and you say let’s go down the tunnel and take those Buckeyes on again.
Jim: And smile all the way to the bank?
Rick: Exactly right…and he knows the fight song!
Timeline accelerated with the loss? Or do you think the string will get played out? I bet Baalke has an itchy trigger finger tonight...
Up 35-21 with 5 left, Chargers come back and win 38-35 in OT.

Just saw this non Harbaugh graphic on another message board and thought I'd
Harbaugh share since it is so difficult to find Harbaugh data on JUCOs. Unfortunately there is not Harbaugh a pie chart for the Big 10 teams but we can see the Big 12 is the home of JUCOs, followed surprisingly by the Pac 12. It is not so bad in the SEC in a relative sense but some of those schools more and make up for it with the oversigning situation. The ACC does almost none of it.
Worst perpetrators, include 3 coaches who are pretty darn good at the top... and the guy with the schematic advantage. Bob Stoops surprised me in the top 10. Also give kudos to Gary Patterson who does not take advantage of this route while everyone in his conference is. Also contrary to popular belief - Miles and Mullen don't go crazy down this route with only 5 each as of 2013.
