A couple weeks ago, I put together a google map with all of the Michigan bars I'm aware of (and also everything from the spreadsheet that bouje has been maintaining.) The map is here.
Hopefully this will prevent the "where's the Michigan bar in Pittsburgh/Fresno/Topeka/wherever" threads that pop up every week, but if your favorite gameday hangout isn't on here, put it in the thread and let me know. I'll do my best to keep the map up to date.
Wasnt able to get tickets in time through the AD or the Alumni Association so I'm going the stub hub route. I'm trying to figure out what area of the stadium is supposed to be for the Michigan allotment. I've seen both the NE and NW corners of the stadium on different websites but nothing definitive. Which one of the two is it?
Thanks for your help!
Longtime Detroit Free Press prep sports writer Mick McCabe is leaving the Free Press, according to Crain's Detroit Business. Lots of other Free Press and News staffers are also leaving - forced out by newsroom buyouts. News sports editor Phil Laciura is also leaving. See the story here.
McCabe is the self-proclaimed "Son of Swami," and has been there forever. Don't know what you all think about him, but he went after John U. Bacon pretty hard when Bacon revealed the Freep's ineptitude and bias regarding stretchgate in "Three and Out."

ESPN is reporting Strong is in talks with the Bulls to take over after Willie Taggart left for Oregon.
Why is that interesting? Taggart was trying to get Strong to come to Oregon to be his DC.
Harbaugh has all those big-name recuits in town this weekend. I'm guessing that at 9 o'clock tonight, they're all going to sit down together and watch "Charles Woodson: A Football Life" on the NFL Network.
It looks great. The trailer is here.
USA Today did a story today on the Tuck Rule play with Woodson and Brady, which features prominently in the documentary. Read the story here.
Can't wait to watch this tonight.
