THE ORIGINAL POST:
A couple weeks ago, I put together a google map with all of the Michigan bars I'm aware of (and also everything from the spreadsheet that bouje has been maintaining.) The map is here.
Hopefully this will prevent the "where's the Michigan bar in Pittsburgh/Fresno/Topeka/wherever" threads that pop up every week, but if your favorite gameday hangout isn't on here, put it in the thread and let me know. I'll do my best to keep the map up to date.
In addition to the earlier thread about Jake Butt, I found this article about the pro day today.
Bill Belichick stopped by to evaluate.
Taco ran a 4.83 (combine time was 4.92) and looked good in coverage
Ryan Glasgow did 24 reps of 225 (20 at the combine) and discussed playing offense with teams
Jourdan Lewis ran a 4.45 (combine time was 4.54) and discussed the domestic violence allegations at length with teams.
Many players "stood" on their combine numbers and didn't participate in drills as much as they talked to team representatives.
Pro day times are usually faster due to home field advantage/favoable testers, but the article seems to believe that many players held their own or improved their stock.
Some NFL scouts believe there could be 20+ Wolverines from this class in NFL team camps this summer.
One configuration of the 1st Team OL today had:
LT - Cole
LG - Bredeson
C - Ruiz
RG - Onwenu
RT - JBB
Not something one couldn't have predicted, but it is interesting to see that the coaches are indeed open to move Cole from center and are trusting enough of Ruiz early on to let him man the middle of the line.
That's all, short post. Just anxious to get back into football mode.
I think everyone is doing something, other than Jabrill. Curious to see what Dymonte Thomas runs, and if JD runs the 40 again.
I don't know who isportsDave is but he has a litle blue checkmark next to his name, 11K followers, and seems to be some sort of MSU press. I decided against the joke of charges coming in 3-9 days due to subject matter...
MSU's Spring game is 4/1 (insert legit joke here) so I'd assume even they would want this out ahead of that game so they can move on. They've gone full submarine past few months.
Based on my sourcing, I think the next nine days will be eventful -- I expect charges to be filed and the spring game to go on as scheduled.— Dave H (@isportsDave) March 23, 2017
Kiffin is being sued for promising a former Alabama player a job given his ties to a 4 star recruit (former UF player). The guy and his wife quit their jobs and move to South Florida and then Kiffin / FAU go silent after the background check turns up a misdemeanor that was subsequently cleared. Where do you even start with this dumpster fire of a person? ____________________
Edit: so i did some research on the player he recruited and the guy actually was a 2017 JuCo transfer that already signed the FAU LOI. In other words, this guy is pretty much stuck at FAU if he wants to ever wants to play college football again.
In other words, Kiffin wasn't stupid here, he was just a gigantic bag of scum.
